WHY wasnt Q in any of the movies? the new tng's are to shoot em up and overboard punch lines, more so than needed in a star trek movie as it is, and with Q they could have made it trippy and serious with nice effects and such, with good music like in undiscovered country. just saying though.petition!! save star trek!!

Well, Qs are supposed to be close to omnipotent. I doubt that they do have a definity gender either. They appear what seems to be best in reaction to the beings around them. There's nothing wrong with the slashy stuff and Q does not strike me as someone who keeps borders and static preferences regarding... anything. It's probably Picard that has to be convinced with a club over the head.^^

I forget what the episode is called but when Q observes Picard with a love interest he comments that: if I knew love has this affect on you I would have appeared as a female.

Not to mention he appears in bed with Picard in that episode too XP much love for Q and the hilarity he brings to the show

I think Q always had a crush on Picard. Mainly because picard was the only person in the whole universe who who stand up to Q and win. I think that what Q Liked best about picard he was a Challenge, and secretly I think picard liked the intellectual challenges Q set for him.
