  • Strawberry Field used to be an orphanage. Legend has it that John and Paul were able to cross the grounds on their way to each others homes way back when. The orphanage is closed as far as I know and the owners don't want public on their property. Just as well if you ask me, the gate is the only interesting photo opportunity.

  • Why is Strawberry Field closed for public?

  • @sureveen Thanks

  • this tour isn't that good, if anyone is interested do the beatles taxi tour so much more personable and it's one on one, and more stoppage was well worth the $50 pounds fee for 3 hours , for a family of four, and if you can request any drivers use Danny, what an experience, we talk about it daily it was awesome, thank you

  • Do they use a replica bus? :D

  • i live in america.......it's cool, but does IT have a magical mystery tour? I dont think so!

  • Ringo has the same birthday as me

  • Thanks, wow I wonder why? meh

  • Thanks for this, can you go into strawberry field?

  • no, unfortunately the grounds are closed to the public. You have to make do with standing at the gates.

  • This is a GREAT video condensing TMMT! We went on it as well and watching it is getting me all nostalgic! How I'd love to do it again! Thanks for sharing.

  • Absolutely brilliant! There is a great sense of anticipation and excitement in this short video. It has spurred me on to take the tour myself.

  • Why, thanks very much. My friends and I realy enjoyed our stay in Liverpool and the magical mystery tour. We recommend it to anyone interested in our Fab Four.

Recently we did the same thing in Hamburg, also very interesting. Just watch the "Beatles in Hamburg" video at "sureveen" on youtube.

    Have a nice one.

    Hans

  • i think i going to liverpool next week!! im seriously thinking of going on this trip. did you go inside the houses of john lennon paul mccartney george harrison and ringo??

  • A splendid time is guaranteed for all!! It is a nice trip in Liverpool. The John's and Paul's houses are owned by The National Trust. You can arrange for visits to these houses through The National Trust. George's and Ringo's houses are privateliy owned and lived in. They can't be visited inside.

Have Fun!! And watch for the Youtube video on our trip to Hamburg. Coming soon on this channel.

  • I went this tour in 1984.

    That's was very nice !!!

  • i live by penny lane :)

  • Hallo Hans, erg leuk. Anne en ik hebben genoten, ook van je scandinavie-video.

  • I really enjoyed the tour when I went on it. It's great to see it on here. :)

  • Just came to change my qualification, he he I'm so new to this youtube thing... sorry.. bye bye :)

  • Hola!! I've loved it! I've been in Liverpool in February 1981, two months after John Lennon's tragic dead. I've been at all those places plus... INSIDE GEORGE HARRISON'S SECOND HOUSE in 25 Upton Green having a coffee at the same kitchen him, John and Paul used to gather each day after school to practice new chords!!! Remember that famous black and white pic at someone's backyard?? I'VE BEEN THERE TOO! IT WAS GEORGE'S HOUSE!! Please dont be jealous!!!?? :-) Adios from Argentina...

  • I had the pleasure to be there in January ,it`s MARVELLOUS, It`s a MUST for a BEATLES FAN, and also to go to London to walk across ABBEY ROAD

  • very good!!!

    i want to go there

but did u also go to abbey road??

  • Glad you liked it, we had a wonderful time (was guaranteed for all)The abbey road studio is in London however. We didn't go there this trip, but we've been there before. Liverpool is nicer though, because there are more Beatles roots to see as you'll have seen from the film.

I'd recommend a trip to Liverpool any day.

    Greetzzzzzzzz

  • AAAAAH!!! I'LL BE THERE SOON! YAY!!! Can't help it, I'm just hysterical about it :)
