@mikeiscrazymo Kobe is the best since MJ but he's not better than MJ, simply because of his defense. Kobe is the complete offensive player, but he's a slightly above average defensive guard. He's never led the league in steals (MJ did 3x). He's hasn't broken any major defensive records for guards like MJ and several other guards have.

Statistically and record/accolade wise, MJ is on another level than Kobe. Truthfully, if Kobe hadn't modeled his game after MJ the "Who is greatest?" debate would actually be significant in terms of offense. Kobe is just a better long range shooter and his FOOTWORK is a little better than MJ's not his POST UP game. People confuse those two things.

Defensively, MJ is miles ahead of Kobe. That alone to me means MJ wins because he was the truly complete player. Also, name one player that hung/hang

Kobe works so hard to get his pts man. His bball iq is off the charts. Lebron gets his points easier because he is so physically stronger than everybody else. But james seems to fade towards the end in big game situations. I wonder what will happen to lebron later down his career when his strength n speed fade a bit. Kobe is a better all around player than anybody in the nba right now still. Period.

There are many aspects to Kobe's game that are beautiful that people don't appreciate.

But seriously, I love and respect this guy so much. He has worked the hardest of any player since his infamous airballs moment. He's blossomed into the most complete player we've ever seen. Kobe's b-ball work ethic can also be applied to real life, you can always try to make yourself better and improve. I learned that by watching Kobe and it'll always stick with me. Seriously....how can anyone hate Kobe?
