Domestic rabbits would never be able to survive on their own in the wild, but pet ones that have been handreared can survive if you rear them properly and wean them propery, we have one whose mum died when he was 10 days old and he is now over 7 years old!!
The mother rabbit had 8 babies to rear and this one was the smallest, so we were supplementing her with extra feeds twice a day to allow her to catch up with the rest of the litter, she was returned to the nest after each feed.
did you make them formula? how did you make please tell me sometimes i need to hand feed to i know what to give them but if you make a formula please tell me how to =)
@SuperLittleBrat I can tell you how, are the rabbits still alive?? the formula they are using I am unsure of, but you can use KMR *Kittens Milk replacer*
@dogshenry My rabbits had have loads of babies the ones that i were hand feeding died =( i feel so guilty! i hand fed them for adout 2-3 weeks the mom was so fussy an didn't feed them =( but my new mother rabbit is having babies soon so the formula will help alot just in case she is fussy so thank you for telling me that where can i buy some or get the recipe?

If you hold them by the scruff they won't be able to swallow the feed, so holding them gently but firmly as we did on this film worked well
