Peer pressure to go to college immediately after high school can be just as bad as peer pressure to smoke or do drugs--and it can do a lot more damage to you financially. In 4 years there are going to be a lot more collection agencies going after student loan debt. Plenty of successful people didn't go to college. Some people will be happier becoming auto mechanics or plumbers and not being $22,000 in debt.
