@Reviewir is your i pod jailbroken?, because i would like to put a backround on my springboard (behind all my apps) but i know you need to jailbreak to put a backround in there. i did upgrade my i pod touch to 4.0 and my i pod is the 3rd gen i saw that on the i phone 4.0 firmware you can put a backround in soo i need some help on if i can put a background on my i pod touch 3gen 4.0 firmware without jailbreaking?? if you could answer back that would be good!! :)

depend do u have a 3rd gen 8gb, 32gb or 64gb,the 8 gb cannot put a backround behind the apps the others can all u do is go to wallpaper pick a picture and set as home screen

@jashvora24 Go to cydia/ search/ type winterboard/ download, and choose the option: "User background"

respring/ choose your background on settings/wallpaper and you're good to go!

I guess with OS 4.0 you can only have backgrounds on both the homescreen and the wallpaper, but just the ones it comes with...

Sorry, that's my understanding, maybe I'm wrong.

If you ask me I would try to jailbreak it again, I mean, you can ALWAYS restore it right??

AA it doesnt seem to work for my ipod 2g. i donwloaded everything and it all went fine. Then when it says its backing up my ipod, it doesnt load all the way to green and its not moving HELP!

the update is cool but sucks for if you have iPhone 3G,,,, it doesn't have all the features that you would really wanted,,, love the folders tho it gives it a much better look then not having then all over the place,,, I wished i had multitasking!!!!!!!!!!!!
