@kosombi YOu Open the gates before you do anything, for instance in the Tai Chi ch'uan form the opening and closing is built into the form. Yo do not have to open and close after everything you do, just before and after each training session.

I don't get the difference between "Opening the Gates" and "Closing the Gates".
Is it the same exercise? Do you have to "Close the Gates" after EVERY qigong exercise? Do you have to "Open the Gates" each morning?
