  • what is that song in 0:00-0:28???

  • @AGErapperCZ LL with "Bucking em Down"

  • i got this cd i bump the hell outta this song everytime

  • this has to be in the top ten of ll tunes yup

  • 14 shots to the dome...a MUST for a real hip hop fan !

  • who mad the beat the horn break is dangerous?

  • tighter than 5 virgins in a golfswagen

  • Ew I never knew this song was about climaxing o_O

  • Too bad LL is all Hollyweird nowadays getting plastic surgery in order to look like a light skin hiphop ken doll. Big nose LL was raw!

    Digital Undergound's- No nose job!

  • @ DUDE75able LL CAME OUT IN 84 85 he wasnt talking about guns and smacking niggas around i say that to this after nwa came out he got gangster all of a sudden ya dig

  • @RUGGAMAN1 You need to check yo history bro. LL was the only one considered HardCore Gangsta before Nwa. Def Jam had to pull him back in. He was too aragant and fighting in the streets alot. He roll with real gangstas not prankstas like NWA. go ask AZ he just didnt sell dope cause they kept him out of it. wake up. LL is the MJ of rap.

  • @da13thsun

LOL YOU KIDDING RIGHT ??? LL was the only one considered HARCORE GANGSTA BEFORE NWA LMFAO

Unless Hip Hop History has been rewritten then you are fabricating that shit.......

LL was never considered that and has never been hardcore gangsta....you obviously know nothing about Hip Hop - Schoolly D, Just Ice, Ice T amongst others were known as the original "gangster" rappers.....

and MJ was a kiddie fiddler, are you inferring that James Todd Smith does the same ?

  • @PATHH88 Eric B and Rakim was more hardcore than L.L.

  • @DREDAY717 no doubt Eric B is street certified, he has real ties with the streets ( original 50 cent Paid In Full back cover etc) and Rakim was God body and you know they got ties in the street, although i believe Rakim ain't built like that....but LL was never considerd gangster in any shape form or fashion

  • This was LL's response to saying he was falling off.

  • This track is HARD ! LL is definitely the KING OF HIP-HOP ! It's only obvious because he's the last one standing & still going at it. F*ck TI & any other wack a** rappers who claim the title. -1-

  • This is how He's coming!

  • LL never needed to rhyme about a gun. He jabs like LEONARD, takes it like HOLYFIELD, rips the straight like ROBINSON, hooks like TYSON, upper-cuts like FRAZIER and will be forever remembered like ALI.

  • This song still give me goose bumps. My favorite LL track off all time! He went hard as hell on this track. I had this album (14 Shots To The Dome) and played it everyday!! 1993 was the year too!!

  • I LOVED this album!

  • LL COOL J THE BEST STREET RAP

  • That's back when even if girls dressed like boys they still loved dick, ahh the good old days!!!

  • Cat's used to dis the album this joint came off of, but even though it kinda flopped but pink cookies, backseat of my jeep and this joint was on here on the low niggas loved this album they just didn't want to admit the shit!!!

  • I LOVE COOL J BUT THIS CAME OUT WHEN THE WEST COAST WAS ON WITH THE GANGSTA RAP IT WAS LIKE MOCKING THE WEST WITH FORTIES AND THE WHOLE LIQUOR STORE SCENE LOL NIGGAS ON THE EAST WAS HATING BACK THEN OR ADAPTING LOL ADAPTING TO WHAT UR NOT IS FAKE BUT I STILL DIG COOL J ONE OF THE TRUE LEGENDS IN HIPHOP

  • @rossrugga Buuuuuuuuuuuullshit

  • REAL FN STREET HOP, THIS IS MY THEME FOR LIFE, F.T.W

  • LL IS THE GREATEST ALL ALL TIME (Actor, Rapper, buff and hard SINCE 1980 BRO !!!! and still going strong, he is old school by heart but puts out new SH*T all the time!!

  • take of your clothes and taste the steal, love that line

  • 14 Shots To The Dome is actually a great album in my opinion. I've heard LL say that he liked certain songs off this album but not the whole album because they were pushing him to release a follow up to Mama Said Knock You Out. He said he was artistically exhausted during this album. I still think it's dope tho.'

  • @JumpinJackAJ 14 shots was one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time!

  • lol at the people who say he's mainly soft, he was hardcore before 14 shots too (Mama said knock you out, Radio didn't have any love songs, Bigger and Defffer had I need love but mostly hardcore songs, Walking with a Panther or whatever was the only horrible album IMO.)

  • wicked track

  • LLs buckin all over this track

  • Can someone please tell me why real hip hop like this is being phased out or pushed underground while that other crap rap is out there?

  • I heard LL was not happy with this album, was it because Russell Simmons was pushing him to do a more hardcore sound for this album?

  • zajebiste :)

  • why this remind me of fresh princes track

Boom Bom shake the room ...LL was bitting back then hey ....

  • he aint bit nada dog. LL b4 all these cats

  • because they both were trying to come a little "harder" at the time, because that's what was in, in '93. Forgettable periods in both LL and Will's careers IMO. 14 Shots was a decent album, but not nearly as good as Mama Said or Mr. Smith - the albums that came before and after it. Some of it definitely didn't have that LL feel, but rather LL hopping on '93 trends.

  • @OCUSA You summed this up PERFECTLY. You can watch LL and see when he's mimicking the moves and the lyrical styles of the moment.

  • Dope!!!!!!

  • real hip-hop not fake shit like lil wayne!

  • @IcecreamLeGenD This is funny. At the time LL was criticized to death for not only this record but the entire album (14 Shots to the Dome). It just goes to show how people flip so easily. In ten years people would be talking down the artist contemporary to that period and talking up Lil' Wayne.

  • hard core Cool j this is the time around 1992

  • LL Cool J almost had it, he did produce some positiveness while everyone was getting negative and exclusive, now he's just delivered the usual commershal "hip hop" business. (i say "hip hop" cause to me the real hip hop 'ting died in '79)

NWA is partly responsible for all the damn musical shit we have to endure today. I know Dr Dre is a legend for you guys but to me he's just a sell-out. (Eazy-E (RIP) was way more talented)

It's always easier to destroy and kill than build and love.

  • LL does hip hop but Ll doers ersatile stuff cause there are different types of fans out. He does it all

  • @charliedesiles Eazy wasn't even a rapper!

  • Women, money and fame, such values teach nothing to no one, except being narrow-minded and self-obsessed. Violence or gangsta rap help no one but capitalists, since their main goal is to divide and conquer.

No matter how rough life can be, we should stop complaining and stay together, lets not forget we're all in the same sinking boat.

I'm longing for some artist who would be clever enough to gather people of all kinds round him.

Long time we haven't had some nice time all together.

  • listen to k-os my friend. i think hes pretty much all around and still hood. No parental advisory on the cover either. just like the good ol days

  • The G.O.A.T....

    Living legend of Hip Hop!

  • Comment removed

  • this was the hard shit back in the day peace to ll

  • ZListen to his hard stuff on exit 13 cd and get that return of the goat mixtape dog.

  • the name of the album is '14 shots to the dome'

  • back then everyone was "hardcore", "keepin it real", and"buckin' headz down". Gangsta rap was so contagious even Uncle L got caught up in it. Still a dope song tho.

  • yea i remember he said on yo mtv raps we gonna BAN POP RAP..i HATE POP RAP..he went hard in 93'..but since 97...he's hoppin back on pop rap..hehhhh..wussup ll?

  • listen to the G.O.A.T album i cant believe so many slept on that album shit is hard

  • dats right but album from 97 was wack..my opinion GOAT was way better..but not so good to be considered as GOAT..anyway now we got HIP POP...lollipop ringtone rappers..

  • Goat was the goat cd. Cause he versatized that CD like he usually do. Exit 13 and return of the goat mixtape are good too. Mixtape more street and exit 13 cd is a versatile CD

  • R35P3C7

  • anyone knows the name of the album?

  • 14 shots to the dome

  • 14 shots to the dome and get that exit 13 cd dog and the mixtape called return of the goat

  • LL tore this muthafucka up!

  • LL killed this song! If you had any doubt about ryhme skills or falling off, this song kept it all the way live! Peace to all old schoolers!

  • LL COOL J CLASSICA ALWAYS

  • Everytime i hear this song it reminds me of "X-men legends" the game. I was in the tenth grade when i use to listen to this album. I graduted in 08 though

  • getting funky like a staircase. Thats the one line i cant for get from this cd. Whats that mean? lol This song is dope though

  • whats the song name at the beggining?

  • Buckin 'em down

  • I was in that video. It was cold as f&$K

  • Oh yeah I see you over there :)))

  • i like it so much, fourteen fakin shots to da head!

  • Damn i wish LL would make more stuff like this. Dat joint is HOT!

  • what about his most recent album?

  • Yeah i liked it but i thought the mix tape was better. This joint he's doin that yellin thing. He dont really do that no more.

  • This song, the album it's from (14 Shots) and his new one (Exit 13) are all wack. Even legends have bad days sometimes.

  • Nah i wouldn't say all wack but i did expect a little more.

  • ya opinion bur u on here too with all of us. So keep listening when he bring some more.

  • I don't care what nobody says 14 shots is my favorite LL album. Nothing but hits on that. I miss this raw era and the hype people in the video's...Who doesn't.

  • 14 shots is better than any album out now

  • well its his list if he want to add emnem nas jay-z and snoop thats his business how you got a problem with it? its not your list

  • this was when LL kinda loss his identity and his record sells were sinking..... he was tryna keep up with da style of rap dat wasn't really him.... but he soon regained his footing. GO LL!

  • on yeah baby, LL is in da house. one of the greatest.

  • race has nothing to do with it dog..he has an incredible and sales albums..r u kidding me amerikkkas most wanted predator death certificate lethal injection and laugh now cry later homie..i dont care dr.dre has classic albums

  • eminem

    tupac

    biggie

    ice cube

    dr.dre

  • dr. dre does not even write rhymes cube aint had a good album since the predator biggie and tupac is hard to debate and eminem because he is white not hate on ur list but thats real

  • fck that man how has ice cube not had a good album raw footage is sick. an eminem aint worse cos hes white, what crap

  • Tupac shouldnt be there neither does Eminem, Nas for real, Jay-Z and Snoop

  • I always say BIG is G.O.A.T.; but that title is based on when you were born, your preferences, & of course, your opinion. Strategically, LL is the best because of his versatility. B.I.G., Jay, Nas, & Pac are great and way ahead of there time, but I'm a hip hop head, & I can't lie and say that any one of them is better than Rakim. BIG is the only rapper to have an album go 'Diamond' (L.A.D.), but Rakim is on some whole 'notha other type shit. LL is more versatile than they are. *HIT ME BACK*

  • LL is best to me. Versatility goes further then anythang. Score, rebound, assists, block shots, three pointers free throws, steals. Rakim is a great scorer but that is it, LL can get lyrical ass hell and even more then rakim when he does that type of rap. Versatility, so i am with LL.

  • Would say LL is a Classic, but not a all-time great or Legend.

    Pac

    Nas

    Biggie

    Deez Bruthaz are Legends

  • Rakim

    Big Daddy Kane

    Kool G Rap

    KRS1

    NAS

  • Nice list man.

  • Good list but what about Melle Mell

  • Word. I can't forget Melle Mell T-La-Rock Just Ice Kool Moe Dee La Sunshine Special K Dlb Tito Mic C Peso
  • an CHILL R G

  • I'm feelin the list, man.

    Me personally

    Rakim

    Ice T

    KRS-ONE

EPMD (can't really have one without the other)

    Kool Moe Dee

    MC Shan

    Schoolly D

    too many to name here!

  • fuckin awesome list man

  • U need to get off that weed dog

  • Aite man, get people to agree with u that he better than Pac, BIG, and Nas

  • Alot of peeps have al ready. No one did none of the stuff they doin now before LL.

  • What u talkin about??? Takin off ya shirt and sellin sex appeal??? u right on that one.

Where those people who agree with u???

Don't get it twisted now, LL is always gonna be remembered and he made a mark in Hip-Hop.

  • That Real Right Here!!!

  • i got this cd

  • one of ll's iilest trax!!

  • I was not shore thanks I knew it was 1 of the legends Hip-Hop

  • Wolvoleke: No marley marl produced this track..

  • Cool

  • I like Cool J. But his last hard album was 14 Shots. That album commercially went nowhere, so he went back to doing R&B.

Before this album came out Cool J made it out to seem as if he was going to be doing more rap songs.... less of his songs for ladies. After this album (which I liked) flopped, he rarely returned to doing harder hip hop.

  • no it was not his last hard album

  • this is the last tune I bought of his i think DRE produced this

  • LL is still one of the goats in the game

  • when LL used to be G.O.A.T

  • what's a G.O.A.T?

  • Greatest Of All Time......which he is not!!

  • G.reatest O.f A.ll T.ime
