  • stupid bat-sodomizing music...

  • I thought the Pantsir-S1/Kashtan-M uses '57E6' missiles. Which have an altitude of 15,000 meters - (49,000ft). And a range of 20km (12miles i belive).

  • @powmful kasthan-m its x10 more poweful

  • hate the music, better to hear the gun

  • 60 fat chicks doin the shuffle?

  • ppl really listen to this shit ?

  • 2:40

    Fucking Epic.

  • if you put Big speakers playing this song, then Kashtan-M will break apart into 1000 pieces.. useless ^^

  • f*** that song

  • I see three problems with comparable systems:

    1.

unfortunately Kashtan isn't stable, wobbling too much, just look at 2:25 when it stops quickly, not good for the precision.

    2.

Loading of missiles is extremely slow, the CIWS is not usable during the load, the missile and CIWS should be separate systems

    3.

It can't be installed anywhere on the ship because it needs the proper space underneath where the missiles are stored.

  • @eCicerone 1)2:25 Chestnut find a goal, not followed.Maintenance of fire purpose if it close to the ship is almost impossible.

2)Downloading is just 8 missiles... While there is a charge, a few other chestnuts will cover:) They are 5-7 on the ship))

3)Upgrading is constant, the ships coming up so as to be able to install something new to replace the old. If not it would be possible installation will build new ships;)

USA would already have attacked us, as it was in the 50s,if not chestnut.

  • @ta3uk1

Hi, thanks for your comments! Chestnut.. ok found the meaning: Каштана (Kashtan).

It was no my intention to be negative, just give constructive criticism, hope they will refine the system.

US need some counterforce in my opinion, we are tired with their wars such as Libya steeling oil.

The latest news US is Not going to withdraw troops from Afghanistan, their goal is to control Pakistan too, the reason is they want to build oil/gas pipes from Kazak-Uzbek-Tajikistan, Good luck to Russia!

  • @eCicerone

the only way US can deliver oil/gas from those very rich areas is to build the pipes through Afghanistan and Pakistan, otherwise there would be no war because Afg./Paki has almost no oil, Bin Laden has been dead many years, Benazir Bhutto told in an interview 2007 Osama Bin Laden had been murdered by Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, less 2 months later she was killed.

The future war is not about western "Democracy against Communism", old things... now it is all about oil/gas.

  • @eCicerone We know it. Thanks. Soon its begin, i feel it... sadly... Good luck.

  • @eCicerone Kashtan M is precise... very precise.

  • Why is William Cooper's Behold A Pale Horse audio book playing? That has nothing to do with Russia, it's about the New World Order.

  • @TheErweeq no one fucking cares

  • The best music ever..

    now that is some power.

  • Also, Raytheon in upgrading the CIWS system to be completed in 2012.

  • FYI the newer pneumatic version of the CIWS shoots 4500/min...and for all you double barrel lovers....you don't need that overkill when the tracking system actually works!

  • Russian Navy? Lol. Rusting Navy is more like it.

  • @newmanfrigan at least they are not a bunch of faggots like the US navy

  • Wow, a gatling gun for air/missile defense - what an incredibly original idea! lol Nice system though - and the missile capability in the same system is a nice touch.

  • @hoeky442 Yeah, a gatling gun for Close-In Defence

Lots of bullets, in one spot, very quick. Perfect for shooting down a small highspeed missile, dont ya think? Would you feel better if they used a 12gauge instead?

    LOL childish

  • @mattmatt115 You obviously missed the point. It's not a new idea. U.S. has had this for decades. It was just a bit of sarcasm. Get over yourself.

  • One Gatling gun well but two is better (modern Russian proverb)

  • @HeildemKrieg Russia has the most powerful nukes so far... They have a better tamper material called "red mercury" an isotope of regular mercury to reflect neutrons on their Hydrogen/Helium bombs. And these are quality over quantity. Those are very powerful bombs. Tsar bomba back at the time was considered to be the most powerful bomb ever, Russia has much more powerful devices today.

  • A modernized version of the Kashtan with better electronics and the Pantsir-S missile would be such a Badass weapon.

  • a powerful one!

  • the next terminator O.o

    1:40

  • que precio tiene este animalito?

  • Awww... Heavy metal and gatling guns are sooo made for eachother... <3

    Hahahaaaaa \m/

  • shit cow music

  • fuck yeah! all shall perish!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuck the Phalanx CIWS, this uses 2 gatling guns instead of one, in congestion with missiles.

  • @Ome99 Yeah, it is definitely much more effective than the Phalanx. It has two 30 mm guns, which have a higher rate of fire (5000 rpm each) and it also has 4 missile tubes that ca be reloaded extremely fast. It's quite an awesome system.

  • music absoluely shit !

  • This weapon could be a great acquisition pa protect our aircraft carriers?

  • @rochaedimar And what aircraft carriers Brazil has?

  • All Shall Perish for the fuckin win!!!

  • i would like to see this live

  • 3:18 made me jizz

  • How About the Nature !!? How about all the Poisen and fish you kill every time you do these kind of excersise!!? Wake up!! we all live in one Planet. Dont be a Popet holl your Life....Do GOOD for once in your Lifes....!!!?

  • @Ebdan88 No fish is killed in these exercises, where did u get this?

  • That music is in my top 5 of 'worst songs I have ever heard'.

  • I like the video, but the music is really grating.

  • It looks so bad ass when it aligns his weapons. The reload part for me is probably more awesome than watch this thing fire.

  • @Ravage86 Yeah, the reloading is really cool. It can reload four missiles in approximately 90 milliseconds.

  • This thing can kill!

  • I can't understand the crazy music that is there in all these Russian videos! These videos would look good without the music!

  • Good flick but the music sucks.

  • what kind of music is this, it is fuking annoying as fuck

  • the american Vulcan CIWS and RIM-116 don't even come close to this thing

  • @LokiG36 The American CIWS and RIM-116 are two separate systems. This one combines two systems in one. So u can't compare them If u're talking abt the Russian CIWS defense capability vs the American one, I think u could say that this systems give the Russians the upper edge.

  • Dude, you kick ASS! Great fucking Video.. Wish could get it on mobile video. And the BEST CLOSE IN WEAPON SYSTEM!

  • very good...executioner machine

  • mount that turret on some mechanical legs and you've got the worlds first mech warrior!

  • @Ralroost

I think about this too, when at first i see anime "Macross Zero" 8-)

  • i love the music what was it

  • Interesting video, but THAT FUCKING EXCUSE FOR MUSIC in the background ruins it. I fucking hate grandma slaying, rape your babies bullshit rock. And furthermore, it has nothing to do with war or warships except that you have been conditioned to think that it does. I lived on a warship and this sort of shit music would have gotten wet pretty fast I can tell you. Ruined it. couldn't even hear the cycling of ammunition in a ( vary ) rare glimpse of a Russian CIWS gunroom. thanks.

  • @RonnieJamesable Hey, I was a senior master chief, and in gulfwar 1 (1990-1) the marines used music just like this, slayer "angel of death" I never busted any of the squids for what they listen to.

  • @scannernut. Well I wasn't counting the US navy, which is so big it probably has a Sitar appreciation Society. I was pissed off because I wanted to geek up and be a right spotter and listen to the rounds whir in the rail. never mind.

And I stand by what I said about scream metal or whatever it is, It would have been Lat&Longed quite quickly aboard a Royal Navy warship. I once threw my mates Linkin Park album in the Med doing a SNFL patrol in 2002.

  • can't get on mobile anymore.

  • I have a bad feeling bout russia

to much powerful shit,to many damn nukes, and wat da fucks up with da tsar bomb?

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44

    xD xaxaxaxa

  • @bittemeinrammstein , the kashtan is scary as HELL. Brutal piece of equipment and that's excessive firepower.

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 Funny you could say the same thing about the us isn't it.

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 just give them vodka and theyll be too busy raping there sisters and mothers to do anything.

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 - the reason for "to much" is simple - WW2. Russians discovered simple thing - be ready for a big fight - or else... Germans are very good fighters - and they almost finished us during WW2. So, it is now in russian genes - be ready for the next crasy monster like hitler wanting exterminate us ;) USA shows some signs of psychopathy for example...

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44

Fichk yourself in the foot, you fucking yankee

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 what about america? future weapons dude watch that SHIT:D

  • @NLangerfist Have you seen the video of the Tsar Bomb, Nothing compare to that.

  • Comment removed

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 I regret what I said, I learned the U.S. has to much classified and covert shit. Plus they have like 200 more Nukes actually on STANDBY!

    P.S. I'm a Canadian

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 Not really... In fact, Russia has a lot of classified stuff as well like the elusive and unknown "red mercury" for higher yield Hydrogen/Helium bombs, etc... Here the bombs are built in quality vs. U.S. quantity.

  • @IwAtChViDeOz44 they gon' eff us up.

  • the song is called "wage slaves" by All Shall Perish

  • At "iamaladycanyousaveme" Fuck off dumb cunt all shall perish fucks over the shit ude listen to.

  • @DC55mockingbird

    That made absolutely no sense.

  • As shown in the video, it's quite effective at intercepting missiles. Much better than the american Phalanx, too underpowered

  • God help the poor bastard who gets caught in this things sights

  • KICK ASS

  • Horror.. =0 As the ROBOCOP ED-209

  • Ha ha - have heard this song before - a teenager shouting at his parents because they wouldent let him go to a teenage partytrip to sunny beach.

  • THIS FUCKING KICKS ASS !!!!! The song and the the T-2 THE REAL TERMINATOR KASTAN is the Terminator!

  • Your music is Such!

  • You not right!!!

  • @NolZz

  • no u

  • You big girls blouse!!!!

  • i love that tech.. awesome.. btw, who's that song..? tittle..? who know, tell me pls..

  • All shall perish - Wage slaves

  • Is this a low, medium altitude weapon only? Couldn't a H.A.R.M. from a F-35 destroy this thing?

  • This is short range (up to 15-18km) system and it is designed to cover ship from ASMs, bombers and other stuff - including H.A.R.M itself - so no - HARM can`t get through. Tunguska (groung version of this) can shot down even Hellfire missiles

  • low. Its like Phalanx(USA), or goalkeeper(Holland), was built to destroy missilles like harm.

Its like a goalkeeper. Maybe it can catch the ball (rocket) maybe not.

  • Go hit about a wall it can to you will help. This system will break off yours F-35 in shreds

  • it's known fact that Lockheed-Martin bought yak-141 blueprints and studied them during their work on JSF project.

yak-141 was the only supersonic vtol jet until the f-35 was designed. f-35's vtol system resembles yak's a lot more than the one harrier had, and f-35 designers used it because it's effective.

the one who doesn't use others' experience is simply dumb. still f-35 is fucking next generation compared to yak jet, it's nowhere near copying.

  • now ciws is a russian concept, like a lot of modern military technology, and there's still a lot for US to "copy" from russia and for russia to "copy" from american tech.

please stop all this stupid "who copied whom" accusations, it doesn't help any of you guys look smarter.

  • Actually, the general concensus is the JSF program is a disaster and will soon collapse into a huge junk pile.

  • Russians weapons are the best in the World!Ameriacans can only suck dick of russians sciencist(ученых)

  • Put in your ass your F-35.on a candle to no purpose, even Russian children's samoletu.americans suck dick!fuck you yankee,go eat hamburger bitch.

  • What about Yakovlev Yak-141? Probably russians copied it from F-35, but wait, it was made in the 80's and early 90's. So they also copied a time mashine frome somewhere in order to copy technology :D

Oh well, it's not a copy, it was oficialy sold to Lockheed-Martin. Anyway

  • baivesan,

    You're wrong.

Lockheed Martin bought the Yakovlev Yak-141 and Yak-43 data for buiding a VSTOL aircraft.

Yakovlev engineers helped with the design of the engine layout. Yakovlev was the only builder that had the expertise for this.

The F-35 is build from this Yakovlev data. Lockheed payed millions for this.

  • @ILTUSU - This is True...

  • Russians? Again? Do you know that the F-35 is actualy a copy of russian technolojy? Please, don't talk when you don't know.

  • Its realy a UNIQUE gun. I love it You get 5 stars from me :)

  • Okay...

honestly, where do you see ANY copying here?? I mean seriously... did you pass 4th grade?

  • @bittemeinrammstein Retards think that what they saw first belongs to that country... if i saw eiffel tower in new-york and then saw the real one in paris i'de say wow itsa copy of new-york tower etc... idiots who were born in the last 20 years are so stupid and ignorant that they only serve for one thing =protein bank if you watched lexx.... leave them be dont even reply to their comments.

  • now thats cool, two gatling guns whe you absolute need a wall of lead. I always thought our CIWS was it can't spit out as much lead as that system. Can the guns shoot faster than 3000 rounds a min?

  • actually they fire at between 10,000 and 12,000 rounds per minute :]

  • for one gun or for both. Its impressive for both but one is truely devestating

  • never mind i found it. 6,000 rounds per min per gun for 12,000 total. Amazing.

  • @bittemeinrammstein and remember 10 up to 12 thousand round of 30mmx165 not the nato 20mm or 25mm

  • @bittemeinrammstein that's combined iirc though, and i remember reading that there were complaints that the rounds' velocity was too low

  • @CBlackjr most gatling guns fire over 3000 the middle is around 6000 and that still a lot those fire just a stupid ammount. im not sure you'd ever need that many bullets. taking out a missile would be much easier with a single well placed bullet. not to mention that these systems do not protect the entire ship on the sides

  • @TheNightrunner666 the more the merrier

  • @TheNightrunner666 I don't think you can respect the sheer difficulty it takes to shoot a tiny-ass rocket that flies at over 150-200 mph with a single bullet. The odds of that are several thousand to one...how do you counter these odds? by firing several thousands of bullets at one....and as for not being able to protect the whole side of the ship, who said there could only be one gun per side?

  • @Archangel990 with a prperly gauged targeting computer you can fire a single bullet and take out a missile. firing 10'000 is just a waste of ammo, then because of objects say placing 4 turrets would protect the ship. now your firing 40'000 rounds a minute...sheer waste. a single sniper can be more affective then a heavy machine gun.

  • @TheNightrunner666 there is no targeting system that can predict changes in wind speed, air pressure, etc. accurately enough to guarantee a hit against a missile with one non-guided round... if there was, don't you think some one would be using it? As far as your sniper comment, if you are honestly suggesting a sniper as a replacement for missile defense, you need to lay down the crack pipe and the xbox controller

  • And these rounds typically explode

  • @CBlackjr This weapon system, is way better the the united states, phalanx even better the there RAM=116 system. And with any ciws the US phalanx system only carries 1200 to 1500 rounds in the drum mag. which it is broken up into 5 X 200 round burst.

  • Not only - rounds also get reloaded - everything is automated

  • All they copied was the Gatling principle of rotating block. The rest is genuine clean sheet design. Different calible, different radar, different missiles that are also totally clean sheet designs.

US needed a Russian to build F-117. US is a country of immigrants. The only reason it has gotten that far was the outflow of brains from europe during cold war.

  • The only similarity with gatling is multi-barrel design

Russian "gatlings" are gas operated - US gatlings fully electro driven

  • Which confirms what i posted previously. Spasibo Marshalu Jukovu.

  • this is soo much better than Goal-keeper XD

  • that's an impressive piece of hardware. it looks like something out of a TERMINATOR movie. can someone tell me, what capacity is the ready use magazine for the 30mm guns?

  • 2x3000 rounds

  • is that all? since it's not an independent unit like PHALANX or GOALKEEPER, in so far as there are magazines below it for reload missiles. i would have thought they'd give the guns more rounds. interesting.

  • It is an independent module - but there are reloading mechanisms below the deck that reload missiles and 30mm cartriges. 2x3000 is just ready to use.

  • look at 0:23-0:38 - this is reloading process
