It could be a reference to FMA which uses a transmutation circle, or it could be a reference to a buttload of other things that also use transmutation circles and glyphs. More idealistically, it would reference demonology.
My point is that FMA isn't the only show to use runes (transmutation circles).
Perhaps, The Ice Sun is the Eye of Magnus after being placed in Winterhold. I think you need the soul/hide of a horse, a filled black soul gem, The Staff of Magnus, and several other items that correspond to the previously mentioned cities.
I think that instead of just massacring people in each city, take 5 black soul gems and get a soul from each city. Also maybe the horse means a horse soul in a gem? You should try putting the soul gems with the bugs
@NearlyFriend I dont think that would work because bethesda wouldent want anyone getting it before the day promissed so maybe on christmas day there will be a update for skyrim allowing the code to work and the easter egg work ? well thats just my thoughts .
The guy who made the link between Full Metal Alchemist and Skyrim is a dipshit. 5 cities that somewhat form a circle exist, and all of a sudden it's a transmutation circle that behaves like the one from an anime.
@NoNameC68 I have to agree with you, but for a fan of Full metal that shit his hilarious. XD And hey, if we make big fuss about it, they might patch it in for kicks. Which would make my year.
My idea: keep on the lookout for an eclipse in skyrim

If, IF, it's a reference to Full metal, then the promise day is an eclipse, dude.

Turn the clock on your computer FORWARD for the 25th of December, that would be enough to trick Skyrim into thinking it was christmas

@NoNameC68 Although he got the idea from some anime, transmutation circles are a alchemical device. That shit existed.

As far as tricking the game into thinking it's Christmas.. why not change the time on your xbox? Change it to Christmas day or whatever
