HELP ME!!! SO I GOT THIS PIANO PATCH FILE IN (+SF2) HOW DO I PUT IT INSIDE MY ROLAND??? DO I HAVE TO CONNECT MY ROLAND TO THE PC THEN OPEN DE PROGRAM kontak AND IMPORT THE PATCH AND SEND IT TO MY ROLAND??? AND IF SO HOW DO I DO THAT???

still confuse about your tutorial, after you must have done all the routing,

how can i record individual track, when you drop one instrument eg (kick drum)you can hear what you play, but if u drop the second instrument(eg. Bass) the first one (Kick)will still be playing, how can i select the bass , separate them and record indvidually ?

@ikechukwu0303 im sure within 7 months you must have discovered this haha but for anyone else with the same prob, you need to figure out how to use kontakt as multi-output and get all the outputs routed to different tracks in the mixer. google it there are youtube videos that explain this

How the hell do i export a sample out of Kontakt once ive put modulation on it? i need to have it as a wav so i can put it back through fruityloops with the new filters etc on it.

Just picked up Sonic Coulture's Balinese ORchestra...3 DVD's of samples organized for Kontakt. I have Kontact 2. (Just got) Some of the samples say they were made for 3..other's don't. Is there something in Kontakt 3's engine that plays some files that 2 won't play? I'm presuming the files will be preset to lay out across my midi keyboard...each having a key already assigned to it...that means I'd be loading perhaps 61 samples in a kontakt window...does that sound a bit hairy to you guys?

does anyone know how i can set my samples so that they continue to play even when the midi key they are mapped to is released? (i.e. i want my drum samples to ring on after i release a key)

Where is the play button in Kontakt? How can I open the pattern sequencer ? It's really frustrating that there's no info at all. I'll stick to Reason.

no that flip nap person is wrong, they are just not really that compatable, but its possible this is what you need to do: in fl studio unser contact you can only have one instument selected, and if you have other instruments open in kontact you have to close all of them and then reopen the one you want to use. after you do that you click on the kontact tab under your step sequencer (the main part that has your set instruments) then after you click that you click on a key on the mini piano roll.

yes but this is like a promo video... how you actually do the stuff they mention is not explained in detail. NI do have a training video available for Kontakt 2 but nothing so comprehensive for this so you will spend a lot of time trying to find how to do stuff.. They really should get their act together and put out a good tutorial.

also,I have had problems with all the other samplers,but Kontakt is one of the most stable programs I have ever had on my computer. Rock-solid performance. I wish all damn programs were that stable
