Actually the actor did not fly the plane for the movie. Nate Saint whom the movie is about, the one speared in real life, his son is the actual pilot of the plane in the movie. So all this footage you see that was used in the movie "End Of The Spear" is of Nate Saint's son flying. The actor you speak of was not hired based on his sexual preference, he was hired because he looked most like Nate Saint and could portray the character of the story.

i did like the true story of the real story, but when i seen the movie the first time i liked it, after that it was jus weird, then i find out that the main actor who flies the plane in this movie is in real life a homosexual, are the people who made this movie really christian?
