Honey you are just being real and there ain't nothing wrong with that. I am hungry and afraid sometimes!!I feel like I could eat and eat but I know that I physically can't... I am excercising 5-6 times a week 75-90 minutes a day--but the scale has not moved anymore. I don't know what else to do.. maybe I am being impatient..maybe things will look up when I get my first fill on 9/2/10. I am hoping and praying it will.
@Southerngirl0828 Well as you will see from my videos April 1 of 2009 I got on a water pill and phentermine and I started walking most every day. You can see what happened to my weight on obesityhelp same screen name.
It is good to talk about the good and bad about the band. I had the band put in 7/20/10 and so far I have ONLY lost 9 pounds! @Southerngirl0828 Hi there, Its hard but you must press on, the weight will come off I am 1 year and 8 months out and just hit 100 lbs loss. it will be next year before I am at goal. this journey very well could take the full 24-36 months, so hang in there!

Hi Sherry, I think the band works different for everyone that has it. Everyone is unique in their own way.A pill that you take may help your wghtloss greatly! If I took the same pill and didn't see results it's obvious that my body make up is different than yours. U'v been honest about YOUR journey and I think people need to know that ur situation is possible for them too. Don't pay attention to ignorance, it's a waste of energy (walk)! Stay who U are, you've made gr8 progress!!!

And told us that another patient regain her weight I knew I had to go into this wanting to change more then I wanted to stay the same I knew it had to be a change in my behavior about the way I view food. With lots of will power. My doctor kept it real. Take care my friend

I'm freaking out!! Thanks for your honesty and candor!! On 1/14/10 I have my psyche eval and final consult w/ my surgeon before they submit for ins approval. I have watched your videos and many others and I'm going with the band. I admit, I'm a little scared. I don't want to end up on the other end of this surgery feeling the way that you do. I pray that you continue to lose weight and hit goal:-) Please don't stop telling us the truth. It has helped me make an informed decision about the band.
