Yes the the initial beat is looped..who cares? Great song, real musicians, and the drummer is playing the exact rhythm on the hi hats, and at the end pretty much on the snare. This isnt fake shit. TRUE musicians here.

@HughStirling They have a drum machine that keeps a constant rhythm, while the live drummer behaves like another instrument by adding to that rhythm. This is common in modern electronic music. If you don't know how music is made then you shouldn't make baseless accusations. Just watch any other Beach House video; this is how they sound live.

@lemons41 Not even close. Watch Kate's videos, or better yet watch any of Kate's live performances (not many out there) and then see if you still think there is any similarities. Kate is not only a pioneer but very distinctive with sound and stage personality. Unfortunately for many of us Fans she chose to stop touring after her first tour. But we still have her music, which is better than never hearing her again. I am still hoping she will make an appearance one day But not holding my breath
