Try to learn on an enduro first, you'll see that it's a lot easier. Ones you get the feel of the balance point then try to shift up to ride it longer. For example, on a drag race, you up shift with out the clutch, same type of shifting ones you're a the balance point on a wheelie. Pot it up,ride it,and wind the gear up to red line, then shift up with out the clutch. Practice,and you'll get em. The risk of failing is high... Wear your gear...

Yeeeah, clutchin' it up CAN be risky and takes time to KNOW your bike. Even power wheelies can be risky on a liter bike. When you get the COOL, DRY AIR, which gives a few more noticeable ponies, it often comes up when you don't expect it. Ride safe guys.......
Good practice though a jacket and gloves would be beneficial. Even some armor underneath. First time hitting the pavement hard will definitely be a lesson learned.
Nice to see a bunch of Brave guys that are also SANE. This video is a lot more realistic for someone who is learning rather than watching someone that's done it all their life or who throws all caution to the wind (not a good idea).

People think all bikes are the same, everyone has different feel, seat position, power band, gearing, road conditions including uphill downhill, riders and level of competency, all effect the bikes characteristics including wheeling.
Those Bikes have enough power for a wheelie without the clutch ... Even I'm able to do that without using the clutch with my 4 hp 50 ccm. (no scooter, simson with gears)
honestly there trying clutch wheelies with out being in the rpm so its more of a power wheelie..try reving to 7K dump the clutch while holding gas on still to 10k then release the clutch(dump) you'll wheelie even nicer...other than that all you have is power wheelies in 1st gear on a 600 kinda hard to do in 2nd gear.

In this case its not a power issue, even on my 1000 if your rpm's aren't high enough that wheel isnt gonna come up. If you listen to them it sounds like a couple are slipping the clutch BUT still aren't getting their rpms high enough.. My $.02
@Klix: Honestly I don't think it's ever a power issue. If you clutch high enough in revs even my 250 can wheelie fine. It's an issue of having the balls to clutch all the way to BP on a smaller displacement engine is all.
been riding forever, the only way i ever did a wheelie on a supersport was with the clutch, power up will get you into wheelies mentally, but the results wont get you into anything past that, just slip the clutch for fucks sake.

sounds kinda fishy, usually if somethin sounds too good to be true that it probably is. p.s. never buy a bike u dont know what prob it has but if u want it do a check at your local bike mechanic . peace
it should be carb'd, so yeah.. it would probably have breathers on that particular bike. carbs need adjusting after a while.. They'll probably need to be cleaned.. But i'd buy some plugs, pop them in before i bought the bike and see what it did.. If it doesn't start.. check for fire.. if you have fire.. check for fuel. Fuel issues are much easier to fix than fire issues if you ask me :D. But this way you only lose time and the money for the plugs.. not the money for the whole damn bike.

These may not be the best wheelies ever, but first of all they are LEARNING....read the title d-bags. Secondly, at the very least they are doing this in a controlled environment and not on a public road where they endanger other people. Do your thing, guys. @ctwbluejay only problem is they are learning the WRONG way. if your gonna try wheelies in first gear you should be clutching it up not a power wheelie in first gear. especially with a 600cc.

@1kRR508 There is no such thing as learning the "wrong" way. If anything... They will learn what NOT to do. Maybe they will wreck a few times. It's no big deal. Newbie wheelies are always power wheelies. They just popping it. Clutch up might cause newbie to go 3 o'clock, since they can't control the power? what do you think?

In this case its not a power issue, even on my 1000 if your rpm's aren't high enough that wheel isnt gonna come up. If you listen to them it sounds like a couple are slipping the clutch BUT still aren't getting their rpms high enough.. My $.02

@Klix: Honestly I don't think it's ever a power issue. If you clutch high enough in revs even my 250 can wheelie fine. It's an issue of having the balls to clutch all the way to BP on a smaller displacement engine is all.

been riding forever, the only way i ever did a wheelie on a supersport was with the clutch, power up will get you into wheelies mentally, but the results wont get you into anything past that, just slip the clutch for fucks sake.

That is correct sounds like they are just rolling open the throttle but they are learning throttle control by doing this. so it is just to get used to the front end getting light, i been doing my homework there are some better vids online describing rolling vs clutch just IM me.

HELPPP!!! i need a answer plz...lady selling 91 custom fzr with r6 bodykit looks sharp...
she said she had it out since augest and it died out on her and hse said it needed spark plugs ......she had it for 2k but will sell it for 1k due to her needing the $ for xmas....now she said she has breathers instead of an airbox and might need to be tuned.....
is this fishy since sparks cost so cheap..or would it really just need sparks to run? HELP Plz i need to know by couple days lol!

sounds kinda fishy, usually if somethin sounds too good to be true that it probably is. p.s. never buy a bike u dont know what prob it has but if u want it do a check at your local bike mechanic . peace

it should be carb'd, so yeah.. it would probably have breathers on that particular bike. carbs need adjusting after a while.. They'll probably need to be cleaned.. But i'd buy some plugs, pop them in before i bought the bike and see what it did.. If it doesn't start.. check for fire.. if you have fire.. check for fuel. Fuel issues are much easier to fix than fire issues if you ask me :D. But this way you only lose time and the money for the plugs.. not the money for the whole damn bike.

i know most of you all see get boners when you see guys popping wheelies on the street or those who do it ...but go to a track and take a chicane at 80-90mph with a 55 degree lean angle and then tell me which you would rather do...

i couldnt agree with you more.. at the streets in rosemonde theres a chicane. then a long sweeping right before the straight.. BEST feeling in the world and way more fun..and then the straight you pop up alot so you get two birds with one stone.. but definate track over stunt..

different people have different interests, personally I enjoy dipping in corners and slow wheelies, let them enjoy their bikes the way they want, that's what riding is all about.
BTW, the japanese ORIGINALLY used motorcycles simply for cheaper transportation. (They show us all the history of videos in school)
