  • Who else is watching this because they're bored of their homework?

  • :O shred a will it blend blender

  • o look an iphone came out of the washing machine

  • Shred blendtec blenders.

  • I've watched a ton of these ssi videos and almost none of them involve shredding into a hopper. They must love having to clean up the mess. Or at least get a kick out of making their employee's clean it up.

  • @secularheathen I've never seen someone reach so deep to hate on a video.

  • I hope the janitor gets a raise every year...

  • why isn't there a bin underneath the shredder?

  • 1:26 - Man your cleaner must get so pissed at you guys, you'd think they'd add a little container to catch all that.

  • i don't like the primax somehow i like the 4shaftshredder more....

  • awsome vids!

  • The cell phone is probably there for size comparison. It is possible that is was in one of the washers, because smaller items fall through the holes and don't get shredded.

  • the new will it blend... will it shred?

  • yamaguto - it all gets separated by further processes. This is a heckuva lot faster than physical disassembly..

fergfergferg123 - pretty sure that's for the photography...

  • is this the american way of recycling? mixing steel, copper, plastic, aluminium...? it´s not very effective.

  • getting paid to break stuff....

  • I BET IT CANT SHRED CHUCK NORRIS!!!!!

  • @MrToncarter he has one built in his sink lol

  • 1:48 the i-phone survived..

  • Can the Monster, shred another Monster?

  • and a verry new iphone is still alive in that stuff

  • Let me get this straight If I shred my washer and dryer I will get a free phone

  • Is this a kind of WILL IT BLEND on steroids ?

  • Make a video about shredding apple products! Macbook pros, ipods, ipads, all of them!

  • Make a video about shredding apple products! Macbook pros, ipods, ipads, pads, all of them!

  • @FriendlyFooFighter as if that would be more impressive than the stuff they already do. lol.

  • @FriendlyFooFighter They have one of those for sale. It's from Microsoft. I believe its called... ShredderSoft.

  • lol look how tough an iphone is as at 1:50 i didnt crush lol. on a serious note would the concrete blocks need to be taken out of the washing machines?

  • like cash for clunkers - destroy it first - think later

  • 1:49.... a IPOD TOUCH!? wtf?

  • @raidersk8er9 iphone

  • Will it blend? That is the question.

  • @DubHQ BLEND TEC BLENDERS NEED TO BE SHREDDED! AND THE OUTPUT NEEDS TO BE BLENDED!

    Whoops, caps lock.

  • "Will it shred? That's the question."

  • nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom

  • I want a job there where do i sign?!

  • Put in a 4034 alloy steel, 6 foot long, and 8" in diameter shaft, and I guarantee you this shredder will stall which will require them to remove the shaft.

  • @EETechs So?

This isnt made to shred such a thing.

The (D) might handle it thou.

But what is the point of just proving it can't eat anything? I can pour a slab of concrete in it and let it set overnight and the shredder won't start proving.... what?

  • it emoves the toughest stain !!!

  • you should make a double decker one with the primax on top and then a finer shredder under it

  • Will it shred Chuck Norris :P

  • the shredders are old :l

  • Wow! Pretty cool!

  • will it shred Kevlar??

  • @jaspertheking4life ....Lol.

    YES.

    Kevlar is a FABRIC.

    The fabric is soft.

This will shred ANY soft thing.

The problem with shredding is when you have large hard objects. Like a solid piece of steel, or the counterweighs from those machines.

  • Damn, those bread machines are toast.

  • 0:35 to see it shred

  • Now I know how iPhones are made

  • Can you guys shred some neodymium super-magnets?

  • cool

  • One day, I'd love to see a mannequin filled with jam go into one of these.

  • Gorilla glass on the iphone is why it made it through without being shredded.

  • hey there is my missing sock!!!

  • Why the iPhone/iPod ?

  • @centralandrei66 for scale of size of peices the macine brecks into.

  • Cool............

  • @bigshredder shred a riot shield !

  • So that's where my washer went...

  • It's hard to actually comprehend how big those shredders are. Those Washers and dryers look like toys compared to the shredder. lol

  • That was nice to see, only wish it was longer ;-)

  • 1:49 IPod Touch! XD

  • But... Will it blend?

  • Sorry but you wont EVER see my 1950's Maytag in that thing.

  • Can it shred a IRON BEAM

  • iphone! :D

  • ha!!!!! the agitators got agitatted for good

  • SSI is taking out the dirty laundry ! the fun way

  • Too many jump cuts and not enough linear destruction IMHO.

  • this is great, i can see this method of 'recycling' becoming extremely popular. Do you know if it's used much in europe? If not they are missing out...

  • Awesome!, this is where a shredder really pays at the scrap yard!. fitting more scrap into the bins.

Almost as much fun as hot wiring the motor and chucking a block of concrete in at full RPM's :D

  • @Aussie50 ,nice reference to Photonicinduction :P,just imagine if he got his hands on one of these and mods it to supperspeed !

  • Who needs will it blend.... i ask u will it shred?!?:D

  • @Strothy2 no kidding. they could tear up a dozen Blendtec blenders in no time flat.

  • I repair those suckers for a living.

Nice seeing what happens to the ones customers don't think is worth paying to have fixed.

Do you run the scraps through a Q or a D? The chunks you get from P are too big for my taste ;P

  • That washing machine just got ate! Damn SSI, you scary!

  • FINALLY!

  • and there must be a better way to catch the stuff rather than dumping onto the floor

  • @fergfergferg123 they are built that high to facilitate the placement of a catch container underneath

  • @fergfergferg123 i dunno why they shot that cause there was a bin in all the other clips in the vid lol

  • @fergfergferg123

I think the dumping it on the floor is so it could be more easily sorted and then placed in appropriate containers.

  • @fergfergferg123 well then go over to SSI and tell 'em yourself. oh, wait, these guys are experts when it comes to working with industrial shredders. -_- or is it because you're a clean freak and hate to see a dirty floor? If all you're gonna do is whine about what the people doing what you think is horribly wrong, quit watching and don't comment. it's that simple.

  • @fergfergferg123 Normally, that would be where a conveyor belt would be. Or, sometimes, a bin.

  • @fergfergferg123 this is just a demo , in an installation there would be some kind of conveyer or something beneath it to catch everything

  • @fergfergferg123 This was an example at the factory the shredders they sell u have enough clearence for a dump truck to fit under.

  • @fergfergferg123 I think they dump the stuff onto the floor just for the vids, it wouldnt be as much fun not being able to see the aftermath :P

  • @fergfergferg123 another shredder

  • what is a SOTM? sound scary,

in fact these shredders are the scariest machines ever

  • @fergfergferg123 SOTM = Shred of the Month. And yes these shredders are quite the monsters.

  • first comment :)))
