  • Nice, I have a StrataSys 3000 and I'm using p400 ABS but I'm almost out of waterworks Support P400 SR (I think that's the right name) and since it's the same looking brown support you got I was hopping you could point me in the direction to buy some. I got a video of a Dino Skull i made.

  • @M1ST3RHYDE I really don't know anything about the 3000 other than it's ancient! :-) Is it microchipped?

  • @team222badbrad

I think it runs on Tubes. What are people using for a support material? Mine ran out last nite and the stuff I used looked like the same brown stuff in this video.

  • dear brad!!do you realize that the market for realistic waterfowl and duck decoy could greatly enhance to worth of your system!the ability to do detailing in the feathers and minute changes in head positions would prove extremely renumerative to your company!! eldoradoreefgold@yahoo.com...greg sharp from california!

  • i have to ask , although i dont have a model of 1 to send , can it print a fully articulate bone dragon ?

  • Hi, I'm based in South Africa and have imported wtp film from China & Taiwan but have the same problem - small bubbles form between the product and film after a few minutes. Can you assist with the type of base coat you use - these guys cant really tell me.

    Regards

    Johan

  • @snowflake00710 I have no idea what you are talking about.

  • can you make lego?

  • unless you are rich you will never get one of these unless you win the lottery

i wish i had a bigger version of that model. like one i can feel. but my parents would say no way to the price

  • You know the videos of the paper guns exe: mini uzi - is it possible to make a 3d model of one of those guns? That would be cool

    Thanks. =)

  • oh ok thanks

  • Hey badbrad can your printer print Legos?

  • Well technically you can't print Lego's but my machine can however print a wide assortment of bricks/pieces that can work with Lego's.

In other words yes my machine can replicate lego bricks.

  • Hello,is the plastic strong enough for RC car wheels? Specifically 1/12th type. I ask because i need some wheels that are not made anymore for a chassis. Thank you

  • Yes the ABS plastic should hold up the power from an RC car. Are the models as strong as a molded part? No

  • your so lucky you have one of those machines.

  • Thank you! I sure do enjoy it!

  • how much are those? and are they worth getting?

also is it hard to "design" a part onto the printer?

  • Commercial machines cost anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 to $1 mil.

Designing a 3d model is just a matter of learning the 3d modeling software. There are dozens of choices.

  • WOW thankfully, i have time to make that kinda money! lol

    thanks :)

  • You definitely do have time!

Started my business at 21 earning $12 an hour working night shift at a dirty old machine shop.

  • ahh cant wait to graduate out of school.. another like 10years.. lol
