Who cares if Rob Halford is gay? Are people that immature that they would judge him on his sexuality and judge his music legacy based on that. I assumed Halford was gay when I started to go see Priest concerts in the early 80's. As a young teen....I could have cared less. And as an adult today....I could care less. The music is all that matters and good for him for being honest about his life and proud of who he is.

I always thought of him as "gay" from the time I first saw the Unleashed In The East Lp cover. I remember rumors of him and Kurdt Vanderhoof, of Metal Church. His gear looked like gay leatherbar wear. It wasn't something the Hells Angels would wear. I'd see metal heads wearing the spikes and leather and obviously clueless to what it was really about. Metalheads calling poseurs faggots and them wearing faggot gear. The irony is hilarious.

Why is it that listing to Judas Priest or Iron Maiden is supposed to make us bad people, or sinful? We've had all the excuses including 'subliminal messages' silliness.
