Nothing personal, but this ending was crap. I can't believe that the writers took the easy way out, pulled a GGG FINAL/Shin Getter Robo, and practically killed Nova. I just don't enjoy watching a series with such awesome animation, action, music, but then everybody goes straight to martyrville. Eeesh....that's just lame. Everything else was good, but the ending was poor.
Heh... myself, I liked Dancougar Nova, though I think the original Dancougar was better. The final battle against the First Dancougar and Moon Will was epic! ^_^
And, yes, I'll say it - I liked Aoi and the other Nova pilots: okay, they were not as awesome as Shinobu and his friends, but still... Aoi was great in the last episodes!
...I keep getting a Falcon Punch vibe from Aoi for some reason...in fact now that I think about it Falcon punch does indeed suit Dancouga and it's pilots. XD Not to mention the AI has the same seiyuu as Black Shadow. (Norio Wakamoto)

In Episode 6 Mister F.S. finally reveals himself (the same voice of Shinobu Fujiwara). and tells them that Dancouga Nova was again built after the great Super Bestial Machine God Dancouga.

Mister F.S.: Kazuki Yao: This mysterious, long-haired man is the overall commander of the Dancouga Nova project. Initially, he only communicates with Tanaka, but the Dancouga team meets him at a party in episode 6, in which he reveals that Dancouga is modeled after a legendary Super Robot that protected Earth from an inhuman threat.
More like iike another fanservice to draw in fans of of the old Dancougar to patronize the show but sadly, I stopped watching it when it became the "Aoi fanservice show" Jesus H. Christ, Shinobu Fujiwara would just will Dancougar to win and just simply Dankuukogakened Muge's ass to the next lifetime.
seriously..I lost count how many other somewhat better animes were ripped off to make this sequence.Jesus H. Tap Dancing Christ,it was like watching an elegant seizure inducing cliche montage.
