Very nice tutorial , thanks to you I was able to learn this song in one day :-) , I dont use notes , I rather play by ear or by watching tutorials like this , although i think you play it too fast ... thx for the tutorial ;-)
i just started playing piano. within a month im doing complicated stuff by ear (viva la vida) i start lessons now. i have trouble reading. thats why i love peeps like u (no homo) god bless you.
@JuiceMcJuice The first part of this song is definitely a good beginner piece, but when you get the faster part it's a good deal harder. I'd suggest learning just a couple easier pieces that way you get a good sense of rhythm and hand movement before you learn this one. But don't be discouraged in the slightest! This song is a great beginner goal! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! :)
@Joschinka40K Well, one thing that I did back when I started that was really fun, was learn something really simple like 'Heart And Soul' and then start doing variations on it and learning how to improvise. A very fun way to start learning piano in my opinion! :)
I love it that this song is beautiful AND easy to learn (beginner friendly) :3 Thank you for making this tutorial. I was trying to figure out the fingering because I have tiny fingers and this really helped.
Why wouldn't people get, what's important in a tutorial - the RHYTHM. I need to know, how to put the hands together, the notes aren't the hard part. Sorry, but this is useless.
@Kuchenrolle No worries I totally understand. I'm going to post a second tutorial (showing how to put the left and right hands together and timing/rhythm) as soon as I get my studio set up, because at the moment there'd be too much background noise. Sorry for the wait, but I figured that some people might still be able to learn from this one. Hopefully there's no hard feelings, because I'm glad you reminded me about making the other tutorial. Thanks :)
Natürlich muss man auch die Noten kennen (lernen), aber das schwere ist normalerweise die Hände zusammenzuführen und nicht ein paar Noten (einer Hand) aneinander zu reihen.
man but you have to explain how the left hand merge with the right one bro! thats where the magic of this song glow! but it was nice, maybe a little bit slower =)
@NoDoubt2610 I'm not sure if I replied to this before and just can't find it (xD), but I'm going to be making an extra tutorial (if I haven't already done so) for merging the left and right hand. I think that is indeed the hardest part, and I should've explained it in greater detail. Thanks for the feedback! Always welcome. :)
@nkhdaos Yeah the way I usually do it is every time the left hand repeats I lift and replace the pedal. So basically, when the left hand goes: D octave, B, GD, B, then pedal release and replace, and then repeat. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, but that's as simply as I can explain it.
@marck2021 Yo en realidad no habla mucho español, pero puedo usar el traductor. :) Gracias por mirar mi video y espero que disfrute de aprender a tocar las canciones que enseñan! :)
@effyleven Haha yeah I don't know if I left the door open or something but there's definitely a ton of background noise. Oh well. Hope you can still hear the tutorial. xD
@jaybugo Yeah it's kind of a tricky rhythm when you're doing both hands quickly, but it's a great piece. Let me know if you need some more detailed help on certain sections. Thanks for watching, and have fun learning! :)
@Wowsimsis18 Yeah it's kinda tricky there at the end. If you'd like me to post a slower tutorial where I go over that end section in greater detail, just let me know and I'd be happy to. :)
amazing thanks so much been looking everywhere cause i love this piece of music findinf it a bit tricky though lol u are a very talented piano player xx
Hey man. Great tutorial. I've pretty much got it down except for the end when the right hand gets crazy. I start playing on my right hand and the beat on my left just gets all confused and aj;jkls;dalkj.
@Ksanj13 Haha it's definitely a tricky part at the end there, but it's doable. Good luck! Let me know if you need me to post a video that shows that section in greater detail. Thanks for watching. :)
@35805 Actually I found the sheet music on a website called scribd.com. I'd give you a direct link but for some reason Youtube is being annoying, so if you just go to scribd.com and then search for yann tiersen or comptine d'un autre ete you should be able to find it. Good luck! And thanks for watching! :)
@MisterMikeyMonster A few months ago i got the sheets for "A Whole New World" there but i have no clue how to navigate the site now, i was able to print it before but now i only see a way to download it and u hav to pay for that T_T help?
@holrin29 If I were you I'd try just right-clicking on the sheet music and then selecting print. It seemed to work okay for my computer to just do that. To find the sheet music you want you have to be pretty specific on their search engine. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions :)
@DieBismarck1 I think there's a second tutorial piece that goes over some of it in greater detail (and slower) but if you still have trouble just let me know and I can give you a slower more precise tutorial video soon. Thanks for watching! :)
thank you for speaking while you also show and doin an overall good job at explaining, (i wont be able to do so for a while) but by memorizing your hands motions and the letters you say i might be able to play this right handed ^_^

@MisterMikeyMonster oh sorry i thought you were french. If you can do it, it will be lovely. the way you will play it, it is really nice to hear and perfect. I will be very happy to learn it from you. well done again for this great performance, this is really good. thx ;)
@MisterMikeyMonster Awesome! Thank you so much! I also just started on your Pirates tutorial and I had no idea it was that hard on the piano. It's a lot easier on the cello o.o
