  • il sont pourrie cet piano

  • i watched this couple months ago.....now i play the whole song...Thank you

  • wow

  • Does anyone else think that he sounds like Soka from The Last Airbender?

  • Very nice tutorial , thanks to you I was able to learn this song in one day :-) , I dont use notes , I rather play by ear or by watching tutorials like this , although i think you play it too fast ... thx for the tutorial ;-)

  • i just started playing piano. within a month im doing complicated stuff by ear (viva la vida) i start lessons now. i have trouble reading. thats why i love peeps like u (no homo) god bless you.

  • u go to fast

  • slower is better

  • I don't play the piano but my family has one. Do you think i could learn this even though i have no experiance ? anyone please reply.

  • @JuiceMcJuice The first part of this song is definitely a good beginner piece, but when you get the faster part it's a good deal harder. I'd suggest learning just a couple easier pieces that way you get a good sense of rhythm and hand movement before you learn this one. But don't be discouraged in the slightest! This song is a great beginner goal! Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster hey..which song can you recommend to a beginner? :)

  • @Joschinka40K Well, one thing that I did back when I started that was really fun, was learn something really simple like 'Heart And Soul' and then start doing variations on it and learning how to improvise. A very fun way to start learning piano in my opinion! :)

  • Thanks for the tutorial dude keep it up

  • Great Video, is that a cat in the beginning? :)

  • @TheArutledge Thanks, and yes, haha, that's one of our many cats. :)

  • thx man very helfull

  • I love it that this song is beautiful AND easy to learn (beginner friendly) :3 Thank you for making this tutorial. I was trying to figure out the fingering because I have tiny fingers and this really helped.

  • @yuskisakura Totally! Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you like it. :)

  • YEAH 0 HATER = 93 TO 0 BYBY HATERS

  • Thank you :) good tutorial ... keep it up man !

  • @3alwesh You're very welcome! I'll be posting some more videos soon! :)

  • @Sanne264 You're so very welcome! I'm ecstatic that someone's dream can be realized through my video! :D

  • thank you so much for this video! i learned it in one week and i never had piano lessons before. thanks :)

  • @einmainstreamopferrr Bravo man! Nicely done. :D Keep learning and having fun. :)

  • Why wouldn't people get, what's important in a tutorial - the RHYTHM. I need to know, how to put the hands together, the notes aren't the hard part. Sorry, but this is useless.

  • @Kuchenrolle No worries I totally understand. I'm going to post a second tutorial (showing how to put the left and right hands together and timing/rhythm) as soon as I get my studio set up, because at the moment there'd be too much background noise. Sorry for the wait, but I figured that some people might still be able to learn from this one. Hopefully there's no hard feelings, because I'm glad you reminded me about making the other tutorial. Thanks :)

  • i want playing piano !! :(

  • bravo. man, 10x You!

  • @SmartguyMD Haha 10x man. :P

  • thanks SO much

  • @princesseffie You're very welcome, I'm glad you liked it. :)

  • man but you have to explain how the left hand merge with the right one bro! thats where the magic of this song glow! but it was nice, maybe a little bit slower =)

  • @NoDoubt2610 I'm not sure if I replied to this before and just can't find it (xD), but I'm going to be making an extra tutorial (if I haven't already done so) for merging the left and right hand. I think that is indeed the hardest part, and I should've explained it in greater detail. Thanks for the feedback! Always welcome. :)

  • Thanks for uploading, it was very useful!!

  • @MrsCabecilla You're very welcome! It's always really nice to hear that my tutorials are helping people learn. Thanks for watching! :)

  • sick tutorial man i've finally finished learning this from u tock about a week! thanks!

  • @chrisjk123 Thanks very much, I'm glad it was helpful!

  • @MisterMikeyMonster hell was it helpful this was the 2nd song that i learnt and my teacher will be blown away thanks again :D

  • Hey, during this song do you have the pedal down at any time?

  • @nkhdaos Yeah the way I usually do it is every time the left hand repeats I lift and replace the pedal. So basically, when the left hand goes: D octave, B, GD, B, then pedal release and replace, and then repeat. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, but that's as simply as I can explain it.

  • Nice tut, thanks.

Say hello to your cat .D

  • @Taeranos Hahahaha thanks. :D

  • I can hear crickets singing on this video.... [??] Well, it SOUNDS like crickets.. lots of them.

  • @effyleven Haha yeah I don't know if I left the door open or something but there's definitely a ton of background noise. Oh well. Hope you can still hear the tutorial. xD

    Thanks for watching! :)

  • i have been looking for this for sometime cheers man

  • @RBY656 Glad I was able to contribute to Youtube by having a tutorial that isn't overdone. :) Thanks.

  • dannnng... it took me forever, but hey! i got it!

  • @forgottenson666 Congrats!! Yeah, it's a surprisingly hard piece. Good job! Hopefully my tutorial was helpful. Thanks for watching! :)

  • alot harder than i thought it was!!

  • @jaybugo Yeah it's kind of a tricky rhythm when you're doing both hands quickly, but it's a great piece. Let me know if you need some more detailed help on certain sections. Thanks for watching, and have fun learning! :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster Thanks i will

  • @MisterMikeyMonster i have the first part perfectly but, i cant get both my hands to play the last fast part at the same time

  • @Wowsimsis18 Yeah it's kinda tricky there at the end. If you'd like me to post a slower tutorial where I go over that end section in greater detail, just let me know and I'd be happy to. :)

    Thanks for watching! :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster that would be great and i believe that it would help alot of people :)

  • amazing thanks been looking everywhere cause i just love this piece of music finding it very tricky though lol u are a very talented piano player xx

  • Hey thanks alot!

  • @wrestle0142 You're quite welcome! :)

  • Hey man. Great tutorial. I've pretty much got it down except for the end when the right hand gets crazy. I start playing on my right hand and the beat on my left just gets all confused and aj;jkls;dalkj.

  • @Ksanj13 Haha it's definitely a tricky part at the end there, but it's doable. Good luck! Let me know if you need me to post a video that shows that section in greater detail. Thanks for watching. :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster Took me quite a while to get it, but I did. Yeah, great video, it was very helpful man.

  • @Ksanj13 Congrats! Thanks very much for watching. I'll hopefully post some more tutorials soon. :)

  • ok hope you dont play it that fast if u really mean to play the song

  • @cremboit I'm not quite sure I understand you, but if you're saying that I played the song too fast, that's okay. Just a matter of opinion. :)

  • hey dude nice tutorial! by anychance is it possible you post the score up somewhere (;? thanks!!!!!

  • @35805 Actually I found the sheet music on a website called scribd.com. I'd give you a direct link but for some reason Youtube is being annoying, so if you just go to scribd.com and then search for yann tiersen or comptine d'un autre ete you should be able to find it. Good luck! And thanks for watching! :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster A few months ago i got the sheets for "A Whole New World" there but i have no clue how to navigate the site now, i was able to print it before but now i only see a way to download it and u hav to pay for that T_T help?

  • @holrin29 If I were you I'd try just right-clicking on the sheet music and then selecting print. It seemed to work okay for my computer to just do that. To find the sheet music you want you have to be pretty specific on their search engine. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions :)

  • Fail @ 7:17

  • @MisterMikeyMonster no problem i figured it out already :P

  • @DieBismarck1 Cool! ;-D

  • @MisterMikeyMonster oh sorry i thought you were french. If you can do it, it will be lovely. the way you will play it, it is really nice to hear and perfect. I will be very happy to learn it from you. well done again for this great performance, this is really good. thx ;)

  • Yeah, it's pretty tricky. Would you like me to give a detailed video on how to combine them? I'd be happy to. =)

  • helpful tutorial i can play the song with the right hand but i dont know how to combine both hands .. that makes me aaaahhh :@

  • @osmanlikiz61 I have the same problem, it's so hard to combine them!

@MisterMikeyMonster If you could make that video on how to combine them, that would be awesome!

  • @Xaphinia Sure, I'll start work on it ASAP! Thanks for watching! :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster Awesome! Thank you so much! I also just started on your Pirates tutorial and I had no idea it was that hard on the piano. It's a lot easier on the cello o.o

  • @Xaphinia Haha yeah it's pretty hard, but very fun to play. Good luck learning it! I may end up being a little bit delayed with the left hand and right hand merging tutorial for Comptine, just because I'm pretty busy. But I'll try my best! :)

  • @MisterMikeyMonster Alright, take your time, there's no hurry =p And thank you, I'll need it xD
