I know what it's like to be so enraptured by what I'm doing that it's easy to lose it if something goes wrong. Who knows if you'll ever be able to recreate something with that feeling or intensity again in your lifetime. I commend your mother for being a nurse. It's a noble thing to do, but administering someone meds, or taking someones temperature has a standard operating procedure.
