It was a passionate series with some great rugby and both sides had a few cheap shots. The players shake hands after the game Its a shame the fans argue so much.

As a Lions supporter I would say it was a near perfect tour with lots of fantastic rugby and controversy at every turn. I am sure it will keep me and my Saffer mates argueing until the next time the sides meet!

Yes, they cannot be compared, you are right. Just looked up the rule and it states that you may not punch someone in the nuts. But a jab is all right. Especially if you are a Lions player. It states that any incident of foul play by a a SH player should be punishable by death. There is no similar rule for British players, because they never infringe in a game ever.

If Sheridan had gouged he would be receiving the same punishment. Burger is lucky he only got 8 weeks. Alan Quinlan received 12 weeks for a less serious gouge. Sheridan's was a penalty at best considering it was hardly a punch. And yes you moron force and intent come into play when deciding on suitable punishments for incidents.
