I'm a conductor for CP. The yellow over red signal indicates Approach. Being prepared to stop at the next signal. The red over red is obviously stop... with traffic on that line. Yellow, yellow indicates Approach Diverging... like the video guys!
good video Matt, Im not sure the situation there but it sounds like one direction has a clear signal and the other is an approach signal, Im guessing now LOL

The westbound has 2 blocks ahead of it clear. And the eastbound has only 1 block. Probably close to a siding or interlocking
