I didn't knew it until today, but Plympton's full length productions actually started back in the early 90's. That surprised me, because when I watched this movie for the first time, I swore it was made back in the 80s or 70s, but it's just Plympton's artwork that looks like that. It kinda reminds me of Robert Crumb's Fritz the Cat's artwork... from the 70s. Another quite unusual movie.
Pretty good clip, but I have wondered why there isn't a better selection of clips from this film on youtube, the bit where they're having sex for instance
