@CuddleBucketsUgly I played the first one and loved it. My friends whom are guys didn't have the balls to play the game. Though I am use to horror movies. If you have ever played doom 3 and though that was scary then don't play the first dead space because it is about 5X worst then Doom. It is a fun game though. Really keeps you at the edge of your seat.

So who else never used stasis in the first game? I've played it through easy, normal and nightmare and not once have I used stasis. A gimmick like that just takes away from the actual horror of being over whelmed or those truely epic "OH SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!" moments. When you're running for a door, or in a panic just punching, kicking and laser cutting anything just to get the fuck away from those things.
