And I couldn't even get close to a top speed run of a zx12r !! Not hate'n , but where I'm from a cbr is considered a track bike , not a drag bike or top speed run bike . That guy just can't ride ....

Well, in the first run the blade was in front of the 12 when they began the race. I've owned a 954 blade and R1 among others and currently own a 2001 ZX12R and I know which is the fastest bike. That 12 in the video wasn't even trying whereas the blade was topped out. as they came past the camera. Unless you've actually ridden a hyperbike like the zx12r or Hayabusa you don't have a clue.
ive been against blades on my 12 and over that distance the 12 would walk it . maybe up to 130 or 140 blades are fast but after that any decent rider on a 12 will destroy it .

lol this vids got all the little zx-12 fan boys all butt hurt the 12 is a good bike i own a 02 zx12 with a brocks 4-2-1 drag pipe PC3 race filter and tuned stretched 9 inches and i also own an 08 cbr1000rr and both bikes are fast it all comes down to rider the 12 seems to have more top end but thats it my cbr has a full akrapovic Ti/carbon pipe pc3 bmc filter and it feels fast and when my zx12 was stock wheel base i could always pull a faster quarter with my cbr with a 9.76 at 147mph
No friggin way asswipes, i had both bikes, the cbr does NOT, nor will it EVER have the grunt to beat the ZX12 stock. Just grow a pair and stop waisting our time.
Trust and believe that if a CBR beats a ZX-12 there is an issue with the 12's rider or the 12 itself or both. Maybe the CBR had a turbo and nitrous and the 12 was stock and it may be close. Moral of the story a good running 12 will beat a CBR even modified with the normal mods (exhaust, pcm, and, air filter) anyday bike for bike but a skilled rider compared to an unskilled one changes the game. I could beat a modified Busa with a stock 600 in a drag race if the Busa rider can't ride.
No way in hell the CBR could beat the ZX12 assuming they are both running correctly. A lot has to do with rider skill and that is mainly what you are seeing in this video.
if Honda is'nt beating the compition with speed it's beating them with quality...My RR engine has things done with it at the factory that other manufacturers skip to save money...In the empty world it's nice to know that at least one auto manufacture is falling back on quality because they know in the long run it will prevail over all others
if you knew ur stuff, you would know that any 1000cc bike will win a roll on with a 12, 14 or a hayabusa. they are made for drag racing. put it up against a zx10, r1, or gixxer 1000 and see what would happen. those model cbrs are the weakest of the 1000s

They cross the quarter mile about 5mph slower than the 1000s but post a better time. What does that tell you? They get the jump but start losing ground at high speeds. Its all about weight at high speeds. Im sure I am more experienced than you(20 yrs riding), so keep it to yourself when grown folks are talking.

I have been a Kaw guy since my 1st 600 in 1986 then my ZX10 in 1999. Now on CBR 1000RR 2006, sorry Kaw lighter faster better design with a Yosh pipe Powercomander and twin NOS bottles I really dont think anything out there can compare to the CBR`s

I have a cbr 1000rr 2006 and i race my buddys 09 R1 and beat him eveytime until i top out.The R1 has more top end but there is no way the you would beat a cbr in the 1/4 mile.This is coming from people who know how to ride.I like the R1 but it just is not as fast until the top end and thats a fact.

have an 08CBR1k and it was quicker than my 06 zx14 from a roll. Its no screct that liters are quicker not faster than hyper bikes. I have seen few of this guys videos and to be honest he is always seems to be racing a heavy guy or a scared guy or worse a Duc. Put a decent rider/lighter rider on the zx12 and by the mile mark he u will see tail lights.

I buy becuse I ride a 08 cbr1000r and its quicker than my 06 zx14 once the bikes are moving so I could see a older cbr kicking a zx12 in the nuts from a roll power to weight and gearing advantage to the 1000.
Honda's are very under rated. I've had my 954 for five months and I haven't lost a race yet. I haven't raced a Busa, but I stayed wheel and wheel with a zx 14. Another factor is that I'll only race from 0 to 110. Anything else is uncivilized.
The day A Fireblade of ANY year beats my ZX12R They better be on N2O or Turbo.....Evidently the guy he was racing no bawls b/c they were only running straight line.

My old '90 model CBR1000 with '94 model carbs eats ZZR1000's for breakfast.
Nothing unusual to see an extra 200cc makes no difference. There's even a vid where the ZX14 can't get away from the CBR1000.
Still, they couldn't have wasted 1400cc on an uglier machine.

have an 08CBR1k and it was quicker than my 06 zx14 from a roll. Its no screct that liters are quicker not faster than hyper bikes. I have seen few of this guys videos and to be honest he is always seems to be racing a heavy guy or a scared guy or worse a Duc. Put a decent rider/lighter rider on the zx12 and by the mile mark he u will see tail lights.

some bikes are just FAST.. between 2 exacly bikes, can be huge difference.. If a bike is broken in like it should be, can mean a hole lot.. Just accept this fireblade is FUCKING fast.. He smokes everything kawa or gixxx in these vids :) but some kawa/gixxx lovers not like that, hehe... stop crying you pussys, its only a bike

I buy becuse I ride a 08 cbr1000r and its quicker than my 06 zx14 once the bikes are moving so I could see a older cbr kicking a zx12 in the nuts from a roll power to weight and gearing advantage to the 1000.

Honda's are very under rated. I've had my 954 for five months and I haven't lost a race yet. I haven't raced a Busa, but I stayed wheel and wheel with a zx 14. Another factor is that I'll only race from 0 to 110. Anything else is uncivilized.
