@relotixke1 non cgi animation would be rubbish...think cgi or live action (which would need to be mostly cgi anyway) is the way to go with Nihei's work...and I agree, Biomega is bloody brilliant and I'd love to see a decent adaptation that does it justice

Okay still no nothing zero zip nada on this project. Me and my brother started talking about the possibility of Bungie(of which Nihei is a big fan of) would actually start making a Blame! video game considering they way halo reach looks I'm pretty sure they could pull it off nicely. Also anyone who complains about any of Nihei's work being in CG obviously does not understand Nihei. I also doubt this is what the final product will look like when it is done, they are going to do a whole lot more.

I dunno, I'm not so convinced. Its style is perhaps too smooth for BLAME!'s gritty and darker style, animation is bit rushed (motions look weird, plus Killy's leg comes out from the shaft he jumps into).

Only the sounds and music feels like it really fits BLAME!

Killy look too much like a teenage boy for me... I don't know if anybody think the same thing. But anyway it's a good animation.

Hmm... the lighter lightings and the smooth textures made the whole thing less... creepy.

If only they made it with a lot more darker atmosphere, and the silicon lifeform more... white and uglier.

Still, this is probably morth it. :) I wonder if it's up in the markets here

Hmm... dunno, I dislike it, because the characters look like zombies.

You can see that perfectly in the moment Killy is pointing gun to Silicon girl´s eye - it doesn´t move, shake, blink or anything.

I´m going to see this anyway, but characters not "behaving" like barbie dolls would make this so much better.

It's going to be a full length CGI movie. This is the "Prologue of BLAME!" (プロローグ・オブ・ＢＬＡＭＥ！) limited edition DVD that was released as a promo. Two versions were released, one with a PVC figure of Killy and one with a figure of Sana-kan.
