@SjokkoladeBolleMusa elaborate please? I hope you're not basing your opinion on my work or on the presets that come standard with V-STATION.. I find it these days to actually be very versatile, did you know you could import special midi files that contain presets for VS? I've downloaded some very impressive presets for it, sounding NOTHING like any of the standard presets - many on par with the industry standard for dub step/dnb/trance etc IMO...

If you're CPU starts choking on the sounds, just up the Buffer in your FL Studio audio options. It'll add a bit of delay to your input (not good for recording) but it works great for playback.

@BasslineRadio Believe me. Theres a point where you're delaying the inevitable with the audio buffer - just look how slow the refresh rate of the osciliscope at the top of the screen is. that was cranked RIGHT UP. CPU was very slow.

A good thing to do when making tunes so your cpu doesnt get swamped is to record all your bass and drum patterns into samples then use these, also if you have a sample ready eq'ed etc it saves having to mess with eqs later cos the sound will stay how u recorded it if u get what i mean.
