It seems to me that our people actually managed to generate more propagandas than our government themselves. Would everyone type in "Shocking Economics 2008" in youtube? This is the only real truth you won't see in any news (notorious naysayer). We are strong, we are united, and we are going to see this through. What's done is done. It's time to rebuilt. We should have confidence in our own country.
The Lehman Building is going to be converted either to a section 8 welfare housing complex or a mental institute for former bankers. The Federal Reserve is responsible for this. The Federal Reserve is unconstitutional and the Founding Fathers warned about ever allowing banks to control the American currency. These men are so evil they make Darth Vader look like a Boy Scout.

US is too gigantic to fail. Should US fail, the entire world economy collapses as well. Discouragement is the last thing people need right now. I think US citizens (and especially Roubini) should think to start rebuilding & ask what you can do instead of chanting doomsday on your own economy.
Roubini, Peter Schiff, Marc Faber all have been predicting this for years. Most people ignored their warnings. Now that the chickens are finally coming home to roost you want him to shut up? I tell you what, no amount of wishful thinking or self deception will turn this disaster around. United States is done.
How do you rebuild? where is the money to do so? All production from T-shirts to Dog food is in China, dollars are sucked out of the US to buy these products.

What is this guy trying to prove? Is he trying to collapse our economy? The market is built on trust & confidence. Everyone knows stocks aren't worth what they really are. Once you discourage the market, it'll trigger a chain reaction of sell-offs leading to total market collapse, then it will become a self-fulfilling phophecy, making him a "hero" who saw it happen.
What is his solution? Did he want all US citizens to buy gold and dump USD thus triggering chain reaction to make USD worthless?

I agree. All of his prophecies aren't going to help the economy. The way I see it, he is trying to make an even larger mess than it already is. He's must've had hedged heavily against USD.
If he wanted to be helpful, join the treasury (he's got the portfolio to do it) & start doing some real work to rebuild the nation & its policy instead of chanting doomsday to the US economy.
