This is such a great song. Amelia Earhart really did fly to meet with William Randolph Hearst, and she met Taft and Harding and Hoover, slept over at the FDR White House more than once, and was a friend and confidante of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt's. No doubt she picked lemons with Hearst and sipped consume with William Howard Taft also. A live dancing bear she saw as a kid and always remembered... Gotta love it. Great lyrics, great music, great singing duo, great song.....
