I just don't get it!!! I don't understand why a high school teacher can explain kinematic equations better than my college professor. I am just sick of my university hiring someone with a PhD assuming they know how to articulate and pass on knowledge to learning minds. During the whole video I kept on saying, "Why didnt he (my professor with a phD) say that in the first place!" Why the dramatics? I am just pissed right now. But thank so much for making this video.
I walked through it and checked it again, and solved it using a v-t graph as well, verifying 216 m. Can you provide more detail as to what you're finding and perhaps we can go through it step-by-step? Would be very interested to see where our solutions diverge and what we can do to correct! Best Wishes!
You are so awesome it's scary. Why does a tenured professor take 2 days to explain this and completely muddle it? It's not that they are bad, but they sure need to remember that student's don't think the same way as they do. Yet. Thank you for putting yourself in our shoes!
May god bless you amillion times. You made it so simple. Why does it seem that physics professor purposely try to confuse there students. In ten minutes you explained the whole chapter and didn't say one thing about limits or draw confusing v vs t charts. Just remember the equations and apply them to all of the problems. THANKS
Thank you so much for making all these physics videos. I been looking at your videos on your website and found them very helpful. Keep making these great videos

Multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the 1/2 on the right, then you have 2*DeltaY=at^2, so then divide both sides by t^2 to get a=2*DeltaY/t^2.

delta Y = 1/2at^2
how did you make that into
a =2deltaY/T^2 ?

Make sure you can also solve problems using the graphs -- the equations and two charts are different ways of looking at the same thing. Good luck!
