  • what makes me really angry is that they caught me for support

i am not an athiest and i dont think i can call myself a pantheist

    atheist are like a slave

    -Albert Einstein

  • @queroscene too bad. Albert claimed to believe in Spinoza's god, which is indeed a pantheistic belief. Regardless, you think albert believed in, one thing is for certain: he did not believe in a personal god. This video was targeted at young earth creationists, not theists.

  • I think Einstein, Nostratamus, Socrates and the like of intelligence capacity, were careful with what they knew....and we all know what happened to Socrates, facing THE PAPER-HEADS...or governments, or what you want to call those idiots, like present primer of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, who is preoccupied by eliminate fathers.....THE FATHERLESS SOCIETY IS HIS AIM - in other words; AN IDIOT of the worst kind!!

  • @eddysnet Universe is not only a CREATION - it is such a complex CREATION, that every time we find out some small things about how it works, we are over the Moon,,,

It is so COMPLEX that every time we see 2 persons, two faces that are similar, (out of 7 + billions in the world) - we are amazed!!! And as we know, every single fingerprint to every single person on the planet, is significantly different from any other's fingerprint

  • @eddysnet complexity does not define causality... sorry.

  • @eddysnet Complexity is not evidence for creation, it is only evidence for complexity.

  • @eddysnet ummm... lolwut?

  • @paleblack1989 who's being rude? If one cannot go by someone's words, then we should throw out all written history. Your comment was silly. "In fact" taking issue with a flawed comment is not being rude, it is "actually" trying to help correct your perspective

  • Well, what he said, he said - and what he said is also written down, so just read what he said, and stop manipulate his statements........

    It is easy as that.

He was definitely not an atheist of course.....what is an atheist, by the way? How is it possible to deny something that according to them - atheists - does not exist; God. How is it possible to deny Brabrubaduna; since it does not exist, but a world invented here and now...

  • @eddysnet who is manipulating his statements? No where in this video do I suggest he is atheist. In fact, Einstein was more of a pantheist. So, your comment is a bit confusing to me. Regardless, to answer your question, an atheist believes there is no god. Atheists do not "deny" god. There is a difference. You are in fact an atheist to Votan, Zeus, Shiva, Xenu, Ra.. or any other deity that has previously been worshiped. I just believe in one less god than you. No "denying" necessary

  • None one here is Albert Einstein himself, so none of us -really- know what he believed. Hell, most people don't even -really- know what they themselves believe in! We should stop beating each other down with these profound words like, "Actually" and "In fact" and instead humble ourselves, admitting that we don't actually know for certain, because it's not possible to know another's perception 100%. Illusions of Asymmetrical Insight, ya'll. {= But it's fun to guess.

  • @paleblack1989 you're right... did hitler may not have really hated jewish peple. "In Fact". no one "actually" can say what he really believed in. The whole holocaust could have been all Herman Goring's idea anyway... "In fact", the holocaust may not have "actually" happened at all!

  • @eddygoombah Why must you be rude?

  • He didnt say god he siad religion was chidish......

  • @beasman2 Yes, exactly! - and religion and God are of course completely two issues....religion is concocted by persons/humans - God is God is the highest intelligence of Cosmos...

There is NO CREATION NOWHERE WITHOUT A CREATOR.....

  • @eddysnet "NO CREATION NOWHERE WITHOUT A CREATOR....."

    pics or it didn't happen

  • "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein

We knew exactly where Einstein stood with regards to religion.

    What a terrible "video".

  • @JoshuaFVrooman huh? how does this video in any way differ from your comment? Color me confused.

  • @eddygoombah You're stating that Einstein is Agnostic with his view on religion, you're misinterpreting his statements to fit your own opinion.

Einstein did not believe in a personal God, but also rejected the concept of Atheism.

Simply go to Wikipedia, and search for Einsteins Religious Views. You should probably read up on that before claiming you know where he stands on the "God" issue.

    Also, I'm Agnostic.

    Cheers.

  • @JoshuaFVrooman No where in this video do I suggest or state he is agnostic. Einstein was a pantheistic, and believed in something called Spinoza's god. The message in this video was directly targeted to young earth creationists who used Einstein's world view to bolster their own ideology. Please, if you're going to call my video "terrible", then please do me the courtesy of paying attention to its message.

  • @eddygoombah So, you're video is terrible, and you're an asshole.

    Cheers.

  • @JoshuaFVrooman lolwut?

ease up on the caffeine, bro.

  • @JoshuaFVrooman

So, you're an asspie butthurt faggot, and a friendless one. Cheers.

  • @BechTalent Stop talking to me.

  • yes this vid is right he did believe in god, but not in a personal one.. a god wich you must pray for etc. he believed in a god that created us and let us live our lives as good as we can helping as many pple as we can. and i.. am 110% beside him.

  • @kilsgb Uh, no, that's incorrect. You must have misinterpreted something he said, but he believed in no God at all.

"If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it."

This doesn't mean he believes God made it systematic, only that he admires that it is so. You are not 110% beside him.

  • well at least he knew his math....

  • That pissing music is so yuk, shoot the music man

  • What terrible music ,sorry I clicked on here, spoilt my viewing

  • @princeofswine and I'm sorry you have bad taste in music

  • @eddygoombah The music deserves to spend its sentance in a field surrounded by punk rockers ,head bangers and metal band guys they are the only ones who would enjoy this music.drugged out of their tiny minds.Wait till you get older kiddo your'll understand us old folk,we have heard it all, seen it all, dunnit and forgot it.Oh to be young again, young enough to appreciate your music.Dont get down the world a place of variations thats why its the only place I want to live.ha ha,Good luck.

  • @princeofswine Oh, I'm sorry, i didn't realize I was speaking tona worthless troll. Have fun with that,

  • @eddygoombah i'm glad your getting a sense of humour, just like your music

  • @eddygoombah i'm glad your getting a sense of humour, just like your music, lets troll on

  • @eddygoombah They say that music be the food of love, all that music does is make you realise silence is golden for us old ones .ha ha

  • @princeofswine Actually, one time I was walking to work, and had to fart really bad, however, when I belted it out, I pooed a little. You ever do that? But I was still 15 blocks from work and I was late, so I had to continue my rapid trek squishing the mess between my checks the entire time. Keep in mind that it was about 90 degrees and I was wearing white pants. I could feel everything getting all squirmy and moist, but I couldn't stop or risk losing my job. Hmm, I want some ice cream.

  • @eddygoombah You should have listened to your mother the night before and not gone out with your nappy on and try and be a grown up.I love chocalate ice cream especially with the choc lumps that stick between your teeth,Check out evil Rothschild ,federal reserve and Ron Paul on youtube and you'll see how inportant you and I are.If your old enough to work you'll enjoy the journey, loads more,ie:- secrets of the arc (81 minutes),,monatomic gold,,nazi UFO

  • @princeofswine So I got to work, and wouldn't you know it, it was really busy. Like crazy busy. I had no time to get a drink of water, let alone clean myself up. So I worked 8 hours in poo stained shorts. It was actually not that bad for the first few hours, but then it started to itch, and man, when I eventually got home, I had one of the biggest rashes I have ever seen. I couldn't sit down for a few days. I had to sleep on my belly for a week! and the smell! wow. It woulda killed a goat.

  • @eddygoombah OK I'LL SWALLOW IT

  • @eddygoombah OK I'LL SWALLOW IT,IS THIS A NOVEL

  • @princeofswine speaking of swallowing, I slept over my cousin's house when i was a kid. It was lots of fun! We played Dungeons and Dragons, and Super Mario... my dad didn't let me have a Nintendo you see. And they ordered Sicilian style pizza, which was my favorite! She had a bunk bed, too! I had the bottom bunk which laid out perpendicular from her on the top. She got sick, and I was woken up with her throwing up over the edge, on my face... and my mouth was open. I never went back.

  • @eddygoombah DONT BLAME YOU IF THAT HAD BEEN ME I WOULD HAVE GONE BACK AND PISSED IN HER MOUTH WHEN SHE WAS ASLEEP,

  • @princeofswine Well, we didn't start doing that until started hanging out again when we were teenagers. Girl was a FREAK!

  • @eddygoombah HAVE A LOOK AT THE LINKS I GAVE YOU LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK

  • @princeofswine seriously, it was like she got off solely for the fact that we were related. And she had bad daddy issues as well. Normally, I would be against any type of incestuous relationship, but I was like 15, and I was getting laid, and she was probably the hottest girl I knew at the time, so I say I deserve a pass. But man, I had to stop it when she asked me to start hitting her. I just couldn't bring myself to do that. The tying up thing was cool, but she was a bit too freaky for me

  • @eddygoombah Write a book, never know might det on the best sellers list or made into a film ,plenty bucks.

  • @princeofswine but that's when I started reading and learning about the world. I realized that there was a common enemy for the people. A group that was against everything we as freedom loving patriots stand for. People who are so filled with evil and lies, that simply to speak their name brings upon a hate in me so potent, it could kill a goat. However, their society is so secret, that no one has ever seen them around, which is just what they want you to think. That group? Inuits.

  • @eddygoombah The Inuit are a group of culturally similar indigenous peoples inhabiting the Arctic regions of Canada (Northwest Territories, Nunatsiavut, Nunavik, Nunavut, Nunatukavut), Denmark (Greenland), Russia (Siberia) and the United States (Alaska).[2] Inuit means “the people” in the Inuktitut language. An Inuk is an Inuit person. The Inuit language is grouped under Eskimo-Aleut languages.[3]

What harm have they done you?????

  • @princeofswine They are fucking evil, through and through. They want you to think that they are all peace loving, and self sustaining, and isolationist.... but deep within their cold small hearts there exists only evil. They are bringing this entire world down. In fact, they are the cause of global warming. Because they know when the ice caps melt and it's too hot below the arctic circle to live, their land will be prime real estate, and we will have to bow down to all their demands! EVIL!

  • @eddygoombah No worry there ,the ice melts, they build towns and cities ,then the ice comes back another ice age funny hey.The guy to worry about is Rothschild he owns two thirds of the worlds wealth and owns most of america, owns the federal reserve and is sucking america dry you have to look it up and tell every one you know, whats happening in america is blind robbery and they will be taking america over soon, you have to study it for survival

  • @princeofswine Rothschild? nah. He's a good guy. So are the Masons. All good people. They all have hot cousins, too

  • @eddygoombah We will see, good night

  • @princeofswine I love you. I am in love with you. You're not a cousin of mine, per chance?

  • "I believe in Spinoza's God, who reveals himself in the lawful harmony of all that exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fate and the doings of mankind."- Albert Einstein

  • It's fun taking things out of context isn't? What Einstein ACTUALLY said was that an anthropomorphic God is childish. And it is childish to think of God as having 10 fingers and 10 toes and a penis.

This is not what is meant by 'god created us in his image/likeness'. If you understand what the 'likeness' of God is, then you understand what the Bible is actually talking about.

  • Comment removed

  • which God didn't he believe in? - hindus have billions, christians have a few, muslins have one - and the rest probably dont matter since they are not popular so their Gods dont count. Zeus and Pesidon - now theres a couple of Gods that smoked the others back in the day - maby we should not be so hasty in forgetting them - the world is being torn apart by 'water Gods' .. maby they are angry..

  • Well,

the video selects one thought of a complex opinion.

If I read the title, watched this video, than I'd get the impression that Einstein was an atheist. Which is not the truth. You are showing only one side of the story. It's like when you have an apple and one side is rotten and the other is nicely looking.

When you show whether only the rotten or only the intact part of the apple, you are distorting reality. That's what you did in your video and that's why I evaluated it the way I did.

  • @eordogadam No where in the video do i suggest that he is an atheist. At the end if the vid I make it clear that this is directed at creationists. This video was meant to take Einstein out of the equation since it matters not what his opinion of god was. Stop suggesting otherwise.

  • Comment removed

  • @eordogadam “I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings” “I am a deeply religious nonbeliever, this is a somewhat new kind of religion” -Albert Einstein

According to this Stanford web site, Spinoza was a reductive pantheist, which is essentially the same thing as an atheist.

"Reductive pantheism and atheism maintain extensionally equivalent ontologies."

    Al was an atheist.

  • @eordogadam

    Here's the link

    plato.stanford.edu/entries/spinoza/

  • Just in case

    If anyone didn't know

This video is a piece of crap.

The video links to an article about an Einstein letter on auction, which is one the letters that are against any belief.

But his vision of god was more complex as the article says

"Previously the great scientist's comments on religion - (...) - have been the subject of much debate, used notably to back up arguments in favour of faith. "

So it is not his point of view it is just part of it.

    Einstein was agnostic.

  • @eordogadam Actually, Einstein was an agnostic pantheist to be more precise... And no one here, especially the person who made this video (me) suggests that he is anything else. I made this in retort to a few young earth creationists that used his view to promote their personal god's existence.

    so, just in case,

    if anyone didn't know,

one should try to understand the context of the message of a video before making comments...

  • Reply is below.

  • @eddygoombah

See the quotes I posted. Einstein once said that he only believed in Spinoza's god.

According to the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Spinoza was a reductive pantheist, which is essentially the same thing as an atheist.

    plato.stanford.edu/entries/spinoza/

It was probably really hard to come out and say you were an atheist back in those days, especially for a Jew. Hell, it's hard nowadays. I have to discuss these matters under a pseudonym or my business might be ruined.

  • @eddygoombah einstein was a deist

  • "I have never talked to a Jesuit prest in my life. I am astonished by the audacity to tell such lies about me. From the viewpoint of a Jesuit priest I am, of course, and have always been an atheist."

"I have repeatedly said that in my opinion the idea of a personal God is a childlike one.You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from religious indoctrination received in youth." A.E

  • Einstein who is handsome, very intelligent and the greatest person in the world logically!

God is created by someone who wish to control the human beings using God who is creater and powerful, living in the sky!

But nobody can prove where god exists logically because it is nonsence and someone's bullshit story!

  • @einstein706 Actually your opinion is non sense and so are your theories.... Christ is the truth. Prophecy of HIS Word proves it, so do all the miracles that occur within HIS church that you mere humans cant and will never be able to explain. You are a creature of the earth, heavenly knowledge is non-sense to you, nevertheless it is still the truth. True Catholic religion was given to us, we didn make it up smart guy...

  • @8dodger7 oh my word, what a muppet...

  • Funny how Atheists hate religion and invest everything into science, yet if it weren't for the monks and monasteries who preserved knowledge during the Middle Ages, Western Civilization would have been lost.

  • @zekal10 And if it werent for the Christians, the paranoid and superstitious dark ages would have never happened, leaving civilization to catch back up to the roman empire until the industrial revolution.

    Thanks religion!

  • @eddygoombah Thank you Judeo-Christian principles for being the basis of the greatest empire that ever lived: The United States of America.

    There goes your argument --------------->

  • @zekal10 The united states is a secular nation

    There goes tour argument

  • Comment removed

  • @eddygoombah If you knew anything about history, you'd know that Christianity had nothing to do with the fall of Rome but, rather, Germanic tribes. Go do some research.

  • @zekal10 Didn't say anything about the christians causing the fall of Rome.

    Try again

  • @eddygoombah So do secular nations have "In God We Trust" imprinted on their currency? Didn't think so. NEXT

  • @zekal10 "In God we trust" first appeared in 1957 as a reactionary propaganda measure against the communists. However, our country was founded primarily by deists, not exclusively christians, during the age of the enlightenment. Those guys were so smart, they didn't want the government interfering with people's newly found right to worship as they choose, and neither did they want any government faction run by a specific religious sect. It's in the constitution as the "establishment clause".

  • @eddygoombah dam freemasons, they worship baphomet...

  • This user blocks people. Don't get excited if this is my last message. She is a shill whom cannot be taken serious, BYE!

  • @spiritring I don't block people. I block trolls using sock accounts.

Stop suggesting I do anything else

    Also, I am a man.

  • How great is it to be pwned by Einstein eh? E = mcc = law = Law giver.

    Universe = highly intelligible.

Intelligibility points to Intelligence. Personal humans points to a Personal God.

  • @5htpcure I would comment that your logic makes no sense and that you are quote mining,

But I just realized you are a sick puppet account for R2FUK, and are just trolling me. So, bye bye

  • Leave me alone!

"Unquestionably, n one can read the gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus! His personality pulsates in every word! NO MYTH IS FILLED with such life!

I am not an atheist, I don't think I can call myself a pantheist!...

The fanatical atheists are like slaves who are still feeling the weight of their chains that they've thrown off after hard struggle. They are creatures whom, in their grudge against the Church, cannot hear the music of the spheres!" - Einstein

  • @eddygoombah You're telling me that you like my dick? GO AWAY!

  • @R2FUK Bye bye, troll

  • Unquestionably, n one can read the gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus! His personality pulsates in every word! NO MYTH IS FILLED with such life!

    ....

I am not an atheist, I don't think I can call myself a pantheist!...

The fanatical atheists are like slaves who are still feeling the weight of their chains that they've thrown off after hard struggle. They are creatures whom, in their grudge against the Church, cannot hear the music of the spheres!

  • @R2FUK Be honest. You're high right now, aren't you.

  • @eddygoombah Einstein, is high?

  • @R2FUK No, you are. Admit it

  • @eddygoombah Einstein must admit what?

  • @R2FUK Oh, I'm sorry. You're a dick. My bad. I won't make the mistake in resolving to you again.

  • I've always thought of Einstein as more of a deist.

  • @TheConcolor actually, he was more of a pantheist.

  • @eddygoombah Hm, a quick search on Wikipedia shows that you are right. Perhaps I should have checked my facts before delivering my comment?

I am, however, slightly bewildered as to how something including the word "theism" would be further away from a personal, supernatural being than something that does not. Perhaps this is my bias as I've always thought deism was a bit more like what wikipedia calls "panentheism"

  • @eddygoombah "I'm not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. ""

  • @thegatesoftroy and that's great. No one here is suggesting that einstein is an atheist. However, he was definitely not a believer in a personal god as many young earth creationists I have run into say. He was a pantheist. but thanks anyway for that quote.

  • @eddygoombah True, I repect you for not being the type of atheist who attacks all non-atheists. Walter Isaacson"s book Einstein's life and universe states that his beilfs were a combination of agnostism, deism and pantheism.

...but thank you for making it clear that he was not a theist or an atheist. Many atheist tend to say he was like them in order to support their claim.

    Good day!

  • Funny how there is another publication showing comments AE made that were contradictory to this video. Why is it that atheists try and publicize any anti-christian comment anyone of stature ever made yet the balk at the pro-christian comments by famous people? Can you say; "Double Standard"?! Try as you might it does not change the fact that 85% of the population believes in a God or supreme being. Oh thats right, when it goes the other way popularity doesn't matter. ROFL!!!

  • @drjackflash First, this video was not a pro-atheist clip. It was mainly making the point specifically to Young Earth Creationists who say otherwise that Einstein was not a believer in a personal god. He was actually a pantheist if anything.

second, you finished your comment with a horrible argument from the majority, which is a blatant logical fallacy. Simply because a large group believes something thing doesn't make that belief valid. Try to avoid that in the future. It can only help.

  • @eddygoombah "Debating an atheists is like that of an angry child, any points you make will not be heard. The only difference is that the atheist may kick and scream more and use profanity to make their point". Dr. Joseph

  • @drjackflash so instead of responding to my reply, you would rather shell out a meaningless axioms. Your main argument was that I was using Einstein's words to target christians when I was doing nothing of the sort. Do you want to bring something pithy to the table, or are you simply willing to hopelessly paste idioms on here like a troll?

  • @eddygoombah My reply was that of a famous historian whom puts my feelings at that point in time perfectly. Your reply was nonsense and rhetorical. See what you are denying is that the video was a slight on christianity. It is a passive aggressive attack but that is what it was. If I was to make a similar video citing Isaac Newtons profound belief in God atheists would be viewing that as a direct attack.

  • @drjackflash regardless of how your feelings want to represented through another's words, it is STILL an argument through majority, and is still an invalid logical fallacy. Simply because you agree with it doesn't make it any more valid. Regardless, what you see in this video and what was implied are two different things. It was not a "slight" on christianity, even if you think it was or not. Many of my christian friends understand the message. Pity, you don't

  • modern people are lazy douchebacks who want to remove god so they could steal, kill and rape.if there's no god there's no punishment, right? the church manipulated the people through religion, and now the guys who control the world manipulate it through atheism.chaos,i tell you, chaos.

  • @Jtiger987

I happen to be a modern person, and regardless if I am lazy or not, I have never wanted to steal, kill, nor rape. And I still don't find it necessary to believe in a god, since there is no proof of such.

In fact, a belief in god doesn't prevent people from committing evil. Bad people will do bad things. However, for a good person to do bad usually incorporates a belief in a deity.

  • @eddygoombah

one woudn't know the difference between"good"&"evil"if it wasn't for the God concept. EVERY society bases it's moral conduct on "dieties".because you were born last friday doesn't preclude that fact re:archeology.but this is what happens when one is brought up in a society of entitlement;think they own the rights to what was

  • @only1too god is unnecessary to establish morality. Fairy-tales about the supernatural are not necessary to give meaning or purpose to life. Instead of seeking a ticket to heaven by being an obedient slave on Earth, we can gain meaning by taking a positive role in history, seeking to make this Earth a better place. The concept behind good and evil exists outside the belief of god.

  • @only1too (cont) If we assume the existence of a god, even a god who has many of the traditional qualities of classical, philosophical theism, there are no particular moral values which we can derive from that premise. Not even the quality of omnibenevolence on the part of such a god allows us to conclude that we should not kill, steal, or lie. The mere fact that a god desires what is good for us does not mean that we are obligated to do what is best and what is right.

  • @only1too (cont 2) It is more likely and entirely possible that religious leaders who claim to represent this god's interests could easily graft any number of moral standards onto a religion centered around this god. These morals would be completely independent of this god because they were created by human beings for their own purposes.

  • @eddygoombah I not even going to dignify all the bullshit fallcies you just used. Atheist ultimate stupidity: trying to disprove a null hypothesis. All of you are arrogant morons.

  • @manoljo that's right, the man brashly dismissing my comments using crude epithets and then running off slinging insults is clearly NOT the arrogant one here.

    /fail

  • @eddygoombah uh huh. You still haven't addressed your ridiculous reification. You're like the rabbid Warsies over at SW.net. Tsk tsk, denial is ugly thing.

    /massive fail

  • @manoljo the only things you offered were insults, so I'm confused as to what the heck you are talking about.

how about you stop trolling and making a point.

  • Read Walter Issacson's recent Einstein biography

Quote from a letter Einstein wrote 1917 "I see that it is written that god punishes his children for their foolishness, for which he has only himself to blame, Therefore the ONLY EXCUSE for god would be his NON-EXISTENCE"

Me not Einstein The Christian Muslim Judaism god image is that of a despot worse than the worst human who oppressed people on earth.

I speak this as a Physicist and former Evangelical Christian.

  • Hey goombah et.al.:

“What Life Means to Einstein: An Interview by George Sylvester Viereck,”The Saturday Evening Post, Oct. 26, 1929

George Viereck: “You accept the historical existence of Jesus?”

    Einstein: “Unquestionably."

“No man,” Einstein replied, “can deny the fact that Jesus existed.."

"a fool says in his heart 'there is no God' "

one of the most intelligent men of all time vs. fools & goombahs

  • @only1too interesting. You know I believe that jesus or someone like him actually existed too. I'm still an atheist though. Simply because Einstein believed he actually existed doesn't mean that he believed he was the son of god or had super magic powers. In fact, he didn't, Einstein was a pantheist. look it up.

and great quote mine, btw. I can do it too, see:

" And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell." (Mat 5:22)

  • Comment removed

  • @only1too You need to read Walter Issacson's Einstein biography

Quote from a letter Einstein wrote 1917 "i see that it is written that god punishes his children for their foolishness, for which he has only himself to blame, Therefore the ONLY EXCUSE for god would be his NON-EXISTENCE"

  • @QuantumSpin

you need to look at dates (see my post from interview in 1929- tens years later....)

too bad you failed at both the faith and numbers game...there's always time to humble yourself to realize your mistakes and get back on track on both....

  • @only1too "and that fool was a Christian saying that Allah, or Vishnu, etc. do not exist not realizing that he could only know for sure if he was a god himself" To claim anything with certainty is to raise yourself to the omnipotence of a god"

  • @QuantumSpin

I LOVE worthless retorical one liners.

I am not a god nor do I consider myself one; but I can say with absolute certainty I did respond to a vacuous , insipid statement such as "there are no absolutes" (just in case the moment is lost on you, the statement on "absolutes" is in itself an absolute, no? thanks for coming out.back to trying to colouring inside the lines for you)

  • Einstein & Spinoza both agreed with the Hebrew God: both held that there is a supreme source, and this surpreme source is indefinable and indescribable, which is the same as 'NO MAN SHALL KNOW ME ' [Hebrew bible].

There is no scientific alternative to Creationism.

  • In case you didn't know eddygoombah, or whatever, if you really did care about what einstein said, than you would know that he does not like people like you for quoting him.

Plus i'd rather believe in something than absolutely nothing.

  • @THEWALRUSRIDER

I also like believing in something rather than nothing... that's why I'm not a nihilist. Regardless, if you had bothered to understand the context of this video as stated in it, you would understand that this quote was used in the direction of young earth creationists who suggest that einstein was a theist. He was in fact a pantheist. That's all.

  • @eddygoombah I thought nihilism is the philosophical position that objective morality, purpose and intrinsic value to life does not exist. Not that "nothing exists".

  • @Anichels I always thought that nihilism is the belief in nothing. maybe I have my semantics mixed up. Regardless, Walrus implied that having no belief in a god means a belief in "absolutely nothing", which is not atheism. Atheists believe in lots of things Regardless, Einstein was a pantheist, neither a theist or an atheist. So his point is moot anyway.

  • @THEWALRUSRIDER Believe in something rather than nothing? I'm confused. Obviously atheists believe in plenty of things. Do you mean that in all cases you'd rather believe something than nothing?

What's your stance on diamonds in my asshole? Better to believe in something rather than nothing. Come on over and get digging!

  • He was deist not atheist

  • The fanatical atheists are like slaves who are still feeling the weight of their chains which they have thrown off after hard struggle. They are creatures who, in their grudge against Christianity as the opium of the masses cannot hear the sound of the spheres

  • Well yeah it's childish. When I was young, I believed too, like I believed in ghosts and santa. You normally throw away these things when you grow up, but some people aren't smart enough to do that because their belief in god adds "meaning" to the world, as their little minds can't make a meaning for themselves, they need a religion to do it for them.

Then the theists accuse atheists of living meaninglessly (whatever that is), what wonderful irony. Stay true to yourself, peace.

  • @piip4 - "Stay true to yourself" ... Couldn't have said it better myself. Well pointed.

  • I disagree with Einstein. The legends are not even close to honorable. They're pretty horrific. The great boogieman in the sky.

  • i am taking my own advice...I jump to conclusion and i made a correction...my bad.....hence why i said i retrack my previous statement...lol....gotta love a good comments page

  • the smarter and richer people get the more they go away from god. They beleive they are gods.Scientologists, buddists, muslims, jews, mormons, johovas witnesses all have issues with the one and only god Jesus...it will be a problem for them

  • @WildernessTree lolwut?

  • @eddygoombah in other words athiesm will fail

  • @WildernessTree in other words you are insane

  • @eddygoombah The lord be with you

  • @WildernessTree Tell me WildernessTree, do you believe in prayer? Does prayer help people? The sick, the injured, the ill?

  • @cpovey1 I will pray for you Pal....

  • @WildernessTree I don't want prayers-I want answers, ones which you seem unable to supply. You still haven't answered my questions from two days ago, let alone 5 hours ago. I'm still waiting.

  • @WildernessTree and we will think for you

  • @WildernessTree Cool story bro.

  • @WildernessTree You will burn for not accepting the one true god, our lord and savior, Lucifer. Or was it Satan? Or yeah, it was Beelzebub! Worship him, damn it! Dumbass.

  • @WildernessTree sounds synonymous with saying "smart people don't believe in God"

    I agree

Jesus never claimed to be a god. The bible says that all men are God's children When Jesus called himself a son of God he was likely saying he was an upright and God-fearing man.

Yes I believe Jesus existed and that he believed in a god that I don't believe in

  • @WildernessTree "The smarter and richer people get the more they go away from god." - sounds synonymous with saying "smart people don't believe in God"

    I agree

Jesus never claimed to be a god. The bible says that all men are God's children When Jesus called himself a son of God he was likely saying, in the popular wording of the time, that he was an upright and God-fearing man.

Yes I believe Jesus existed and that he believed in a god that I don't believe in

  • @swilson3d God ,Jesus and the Holy spirit all the same. Be yee warned God is real

  • @WildernessTree "be yee warned"? Are you a pirate?

  • @eddygoombah Gads, I better protect me booty

  • @eddygoombah All Jokeing aside Gents. The lord be good and those who deny him soon see the error of yon trupulance!

  • @WildernessTree And a huzzah and a habberdasher to you. Good day, sir. I said GOOD DAY!

  • @eddygoombah Arrrrh Matey

  • @WildernessTree - The trinity concept was stolen from the pagan.

Be ye warned, Thor will nail your god to a cross again with his Almighty hammer. And this time, he'll make sure him and his followers won't come back.

  • @WildernessTree You said 'the smarter ... people get more they go away from god.' So are you implying only dumb people believe in god?

  • @cpovey1 Simple people who have faith naturally are in Gods favor. If you think you are smarter than god or lend yourself to believe in the way of earth instead of true fear of God you need to change your ways.Presume to think there is no God and your due will be hell fire.

  • @WildernessTree said "… your due will be hell fire."

Don't you love how religions threaten people with everlasting pain and agony to get them to believe. Ah, but nothing like the good old days of the Inquisition!

  • @cpovey1 Science has proven God is real long ago....what is your reason for doubt?

  • @WildernessTree "Science has proven god?" What are you talking about?

Prove or proof is avery strong phrase to scientists.

What 'proof' do you have that science has proven god? I know of none.
