  • Yeah me too...always cry even how many time i watched this movie

  • This is INCREDIBLE! GREAT movie!

  • Most powerful movie ever! I love it!!!!!

  • vorrei sapere chi è quel povero idiota che può giudicare gli altri senza prima giudicare se stesso. grande film, l'amore non ha sesso , non c'è l'ho dimentichiamo mai.

  • every time i see this scene or hear this song, i turn into a mess, my face becomes a mass tear and snot factory

  • Celebrate Life. We can never be sure of tomorrow. Love is what it's all about. Without it, we're nothing. I'm nothing. God Bless.

  • @Pizuzuzimmer you're a horrible person. I can only hope you have someone who loves you.

  • whats the name of this horrible sad song ? :((

  • @JuroNitraSVK Neil young City of Brotherly Love

  • @MrChuck2221 Actually, It's simply called "Philadelphia".

  • What I like about this ending, and I will afree with almost everyone that it is a beautiful ending but what i find intriguing is that as the camera pans the room, you notice most people are involved in their own lives. They are either in conversation with others or showing their newborn babies but they are all doing something and they are not watching the home movies. I find this a beautiful commentary that even though they are at wake for a friend/family member - life still goes on...

  • il rispetto e l'amore e uguale verso tutti

  • eyp..the song..I had just wet eyes and hated myself in dat moment..

  • @Pizuzuzimmer Maybe what you can learn from this movie then is that we all make mistakes. And with those mistakes, there are consequences. It's still a beautifully acted movie with two of the greatest actors of all time. You can't change that, you can't take that from us, and regardless of what you write we must all learn to love each other because we are all human beings.

  • @Pizuzuzimmer You have a very depressing view of human existence. I hope you can enjoy something else.

On another note, if I "don't know much about cinema," are you implying that the Academy doesn't know much either. Tom Hanks won an Oscar, which is more of an achievement than you will most likely ever accomplish. So please, do not belittle the beautiful emotions of Hanks and Washington here, as it is a true look at human compassion.

  • Absolutely lovely and, in some way, charming scene...

I remenber to cry with it at the theather... :'(

  • ;( beautiful Gay movie

  • A movie that contained an array of talent-Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, Joanne Woodward, not to mention the haunting music contributed by Neil Young, and, of course, Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen.

Those of you who would like to see Hanks and Washington team up in another venture, raise your hand.

  • @Pizuzuzimmer

if you are serious with that comment, you are a deplorable human being. period. no discussion required about it.

  • @Pizuzuzimmer You probably already know this, but you're such a scumbag.

  • @Pizuzuzimmer I'm not gay. Can't your pitiful, little 'brain' contemplate empathy?

  • @Pizuzuzimmer Ha, ha. Do you realise how most people view idiots which accuse complete strangers of homosexual activities? They usually view those idiots as suspicious, attempting to deflect something... usually rather badly.

You also live in Greece, that pretty much triples your chances of engaging in anal sex at some point in your pathetic existence (may as well make good use of that olive oil, huh?).

  • @Pizuzuzimmer If you are a troll, you're pathetic; if those are your actual views, I suggest you should jump off the nearest bridge immediately.

  • Brilliant. Thannks for sharing. Always makes me cry. I am crying now at the beauty

  • I defy anybody not to shed a tear, one of the best films ever and the ending......well watch it and see BRILLIANT

  • @Ziet1 You're right! I never cry at movies(especially Hollywood movies) but during this I have to leave the room...it's a beautifully directed scene and Neil Young's wonderful and poignant tune is perfect.
