ok first off you are severly underpowering that sub need a min of 1000 watts to make it sound right and i advice two things to improve this set up first dynomat your trunk rattles are retarded the sub is for SQ but the rattles takes away from that and second get a bigger box trust me those to things will improve the set up tremendously

type x is made for a sealed box. it will sound way better and be louder. this is not an spl sub.

Sound better, maybe, depends on the ported box. Louder, no. Xs can go either way, they aren't limited to just sealed. And the X is meant to be the SQ Alpine sub that sounds better and goes a little louder then Rs. I dont mean to rag or anything.. It for sure isn't an SPL sub but it can still put out the DBs. Its like the Fi Q, meant for SQ but can still go pretty damn loud.
