Yeah It would definitely fit into the progressive genre... You may like Glenn Morrison, Deadmau5, Chymera. Some of their songs are very uplifiting. I think that may be what you are looking for.
this was supposed to be a bootleg i did with my friend zorz, just for fun. did not even have the original parts to add more vocals on top. anyway, cheers!
As much as i love progressive and trance music, i must say this mix could have been better. This was a vocal song...and it has been turned into an instrumental/dub...not very faithful to original. Could have been a great mix with a bit more of the vocals in it.
But my friend, thats the beauty of our type of music. We push the limits to the extreme. If we stayed faithful to the original it ceases to stay a remix and instead becomes a 'cover'.
There are many electronic artists these days that are great, have nice production techniques and thus can accordingly think outside the box.
But to be a great artist, the box must cease to exist...
@CruiserLeo2007 I disagree with the comments about it lacking vocals therefor not being as good as it could have been. Real prog didnt need the full on vocals back then. Listen to the power of the sounds behind it...if you heard this at a good club your face would melt right off and you wouldnt be able to feel your legs. This tune is a monster
@lilbromarky1 Goodness! I made this comment 3 years ago. My taste in music has changed a bit, but I still prefer the original. But upon listening to this again it isnt that bad. Each version stands alone in its own genre. So in other words...I agree with you.
One of my all-time favorite tracks !!!
