Every German tied down in France was not in Russia or North Africa, where they were desperately needed. Also rate of rife was 450-550S/min on MP40 and 900S/min russian so you got much higher chance to hit with PPsh41. Also PPsh had more powerfull round than 9mm MP40.
Well the russian PPsh41 was much better, it had 71rd mag, 900S/min and very high quality. MP40 had 32 roulds, 450-550S/min and in stalingrad it was most close combat. In close combat a klagre magazine and fast rate of rife is perfect. Also there are mayn photos of germans having PPsh41. PPsh could also fire when complete muddy and frozen. MP40 could not.

Surely the didn´t kill all the civilians. Not the usual soldiers. But the SS always went after the Wehrmacht through the conquered territory. And they were horrible. My grandpa was soldier on the Eastern front. Once it happened that they charged the Russians. One Russian soldier got a shot in the foot. Nothing one would die from....so they wanted to vet him. But the Leutnant took his pistole and shot him in the head. My grandpa only once told that story to my mother.

When Germans took prisoners or occupied they were harsh on them, like make them work and stuff, but POW's taken by Japanese were tortured, worked to death, starved and forced to march etc.

Well the russian PPsh41 was much better, it had 71rd mag, 900S/min and very high quality. MP40 had 32 roulds, 450-550S/min and in stalingrad it was most close combat. In close combat a klagre magazine and fast rate of rife is perfect. Also there are mayn photos of germans having PPsh41. PPsh could also fire when complete muddy and frozen. MP40 could not.

Surely the didn´t kill all the civilians. Not the usual soldiers. But the SS always went after the Wehrmacht through the conquered territory. And they were horrible. My grandpa was soldier on the Eastern front. Once it happened that they charged the Russians. One Russian soldier got a shot in the foot. Nothing one would die from....so they wanted to vet him. But the Leutnant took his pistole and shot him in the head. My grandpa only once told that story to my mother.

Of course some units kept fighting (just like the French) but after some time they stopped.
Why ? Because they knew each enemy soldier they killed, the enemy would retaliate by killing many more civilians in the occupied zone.

I also seen alot of documentaries there the veteran says "We walked towards eachother. We was enemys, but we understood eachother" In war theres no good or no bad one.
