Why do you say that? Its not like saying the book is bad, only that it feels like it was penned for a much younger fanbase. Perhapps is the bright, bold colors or that the characters call themselves and each other by their other character do in other titles, but its almost as if this comic is tailor made to suit adolecents, not an older fan like myself. Is just me or is this comic a bit peurile?

Heh. Guess I'm who prefers a litte more gravitas in their stories. Do you have any suggestions for comics that have a The Dark Knight feel to them in that they are rooted in reality yet are still very situated in a preternatural world like the MU or DCU (not that they have to be in either universe or by either publisher)?

As far as crime stuff like the Dark Knight have you read Criminal or Sleeper by Ed Brubaker? You may also like Brubaker's new comic Incognito.

In September there are going to be two issues of IIM (17 and 18) and 19 is the last issue of World Most Wanted. It hard for my to say but Fraction gave to much clues for the ending of this arc and it's sames that Tony is going to die... or even worse for Tony is that Pepper will die, and then all of his friend would be dead...

I listened to a Hickmen phone-in about this issue of Dark Reign Fantastic Four, and it really got me pumped for it, even tho I don't have a comic book store where I live, but I reallly want to read this series because Hickman is hands down one of Marvel's best writers. He and Fraction should be writing more than Bendis does.

Although I've enjoyed Millars run on FF, I have to say this DR series has been superb. I think they both have their merits. It got me wishing that more writers could be given a related mini series before taking on the main title.

Valeria has been awsome in both mind, she's become a great character in her own right.

ps, agree that Ellis' run on UFF was entertaining.

You know there seems like there's 2 versions of Osborn. Bendis's version where he is an insane guy struggling to be a hero, and everyone else's version where he is a guy who would shoot puppies and then have a drink.

Also anyone else notice how Osborn went from being Marvel's Joker to Marvel's Lex Luthor?

By the way, yesterday I bought Transhuman TPB! I can't wait to read it, but I think that I could only read it tomorrow because Marvel is going crazy every 3 week and release between 12-13 issues that I'm reading (Plus I've read 5-6 issues of last week issues that came out so i've read in two days 25 issues and i'm about to start reading Vol 21 of my favorite manga Tsubasa Resevoir chronicle).

And I hope that after reading it I could finally finish reading The Nightly news.

IIM #14 wasn't the best issue in the series but never the less a great issue. To see Tony in the Crimson Dynamo armor was so cool.

papper's superhero name is OK I don't have problem with it. Salvador's art improve alittle in this issue but he need to improve his penciling. Next issue sound like it going to be on the dame level as this but it seems that the action really will start on issue 16.

DR: FF was a nice issue, as the rest of this mini series. I'm will read the mine series by JH.

I'm thinking about dropping this title. From here on out its a kind of clear what'll ultimately happen. In a way this is sort of a retcon, a fresh start, a new beginning for Tony, for when he finally whips his mind clean the Tony MU's heroes and come to know and loath through CW will be gone. If they don't kill him, thats the only path I see him taking. Marvels best book, CCW? I wouldn't say as much considering the direction it's going.

Its not aterrible thing, no. Its frustrating one. To have him do so much for so long to only have it taken away like it never happened is terrible. I hate that about comics. The same thing over and over to no end. I'd rather they actually work at the torn relationshio between Tony, Thor, and Steve instead of having Tony basically renewed. Thats lazy story telling at its finest and American comic books are apparently the world leaders at it.

I got both books and enjoy them, love your review. Well I hope they address how Reed went against the first registration act in the early 90s Walter Simsons run, how he pointed the flaws of that law. Hickman run is so much enjoyable and shows how Millar's is overated on the book.

Issues 1-7 where Beyond amazing, issue 8 was so so, issues 9-11 were in the same level has issues 1-7 and the Iron Man/ War Machine fight was astonishing! Issue 12 was brilliantly done, issue 13 was so so and issue 14 was great. The World most wanted arc will end on issue 19 in Oct and on issue 18 Tony and Iron Patriot start fighting! If you want to see Fraction in his best writing a brilliant well thought fight wait for those issues

I'm not disagreeing with you or saying the book is bad, but if all this is just going to end up literally rebooting the character and destroying all the development and growth he's had during the last few years, I have other places more worthy of my cash. Like I said, I don't think the book is bad, but if its just to whipe the slate clean for a all-new beginning with nothing that came before as any consequene, I'll pass. This is all speculation, of course. I may be wrong, I may be right.

IMO Marvel totally ruined the character of Tony Stark during the whole Civil War BS. I'm glad that Fraction is fixing the character that Millar and company fucked up.

Ruined? I would say so. I think he was put in a postion where had it been any other character they would have more or less acted the same. He was the law, and as such he had to enforce it, even against those he called comrades. After all, he was doing what he felt was right.

Count on Fraction on doing a good job on rebooting this character. (If it is what he is doing...)

I went to say it is better than that but Jose say it all on his reviews. I've started reading this series on issue 51so I don't know about the older issues. (the mine reason for me to start reading this series on issue 51 was because I didn't like the previous artist and I've a really big mentally problem with reading series which I don't like their style of art doesn't matter how the writing is good).

That question only pertained to your reviews of Invincible since you guys really, really, really, really, like (possibly love?) it. Your practically the only gauge I have for that comic since no else on youtube reviews it and online of reviews of it are sparce (not that I search for it, only what I find while visiting different websites). Another persons opinion of it is all I sought, Mr. Melendez. Is that so wrong?

ACTUALLY, in DA this week Norman lost his cool during a meeting with the Cabal and in an amazingly worded and intense scene snapped at Namor. As to what happened as a result, suffice to say Namor is not one to be triffled with. ^_^

At first glance I thought you guys were going to review Millars latest FF. Silly me, huh? And Hickmans run on FF? Meh. I'll give it a try. I'm not excited as most others are.

That's a good point kurumais, but what we're saying is that Tony Stark is 'thematically' rebooting himself, but in his mind he knows he's committing suicide. He's making his 'last arrangements' so to speak, before he 'dies,' sacrificing himself for the betterment of mankind. What he's not aware of is that comic book heroes never die. :-)

As for Madame Mask, I do believe she's hooked up with The Hood now, showing that she just has no taste in men.
