@Tabu812 Pootie Tang is ok, but I wouldn't put it next to A Clockwork Orange. The thing is, Pootie Tang is really just a bastardization of what Louis wanted it to be. He directed and filmed it, but they screwed him by leaving him out of the editing process. He even said himself that he hated the final product because they tried to "fix" all the things that were weird about the movie.

I didn't mean that the movies are precisely the same, especially as representations of what the artists intended. I was mainly just pointing out the interesting similarities between the two films: novel language, cartoonish violence, and some social commentary - even if the social statements Louis CK may have had in mind were diluted, it's resemblance to blaxploitation film is a statement in itself.

After hearing »HBO« and »Shameless« I took another look: »Oh right, 11/28/06 is 2006-11-28.« And to make matters worse: way back in German schools I learned to write dates like 28.11.06 which is equally retarded and ambiguous. Later, writing software taught me that ISO 8601 is the way to go.
