i was there in the white house. me and my classmates got to go to DC for a trip, and we got to go inside the white house and we saw the blue room (0:19) the red room (0:26) and the green room and we entered in the back of the house (i think) at 0:50
we went to the place at 0:52, 0:57, 1:02, 1:07, 1:18

I have taken a tour of the Whote House and I must say, it was very difficult to get such a privilege. You have to write to your local Congressman in order to get an appointment.
It was worth it. There are four floors in the Residence, two of which only the public gets to see (Ground and First floor).
Blue, Green, Red, Map, Vermeil, China, Diplomatic Reception and East Rooms as well as the State Dining Room.

I was on a "special" tour due to an honor I received. We even had our cell phones--I called my mom from the White House!

What kind of special honor tour ws this? It looks very nice. Were you allowed to sit on the furniture, see parts of the second floor, meet the president?
