who ever said there is no transferable g 18's registerd before the ban. well you just stated there were modded g17's. well it just so hapens that a g18 is a modded g17 same frame,same caliber,same slide , the 18 has vent holes and a fun switch at the back other than that same exact gun.

I'm not sure about all states but in florida a class 3 can be owned by anyone (as long as you have the cash and dont mind giving the ATF an open invitation to visit you 24/7 365 with no notice)

Years ago, I put a softer hammer spring into my S & W model 59. If I pulled the trigger very lightly with the tip of my finger, just the recoil bouncing the trigger off my finger would often get two or three round bursts off. Although fun to shoot that way, it destroyed my score on the targets. I put the original spring back in to get better shot groups.

Glock 18 is not legal to own in any state. It is not a "transferable" NFA weapon.Only Class 3 dealers, who make machine guns for cops, or law enforcement agencys, and of course the government may have them. The tank also has to un fireable. Anything over 50 cal is, NFA wise, a Destructive Device. Look it up. Ronald Regans "National Firearms Act" 1986.

For all you idiots out there it is illegal to have an automatic weapon. You must hold a Class 3 firearms license, and still then it is illegal to modify a weapon to shoot fully automatic, meaning you need a job that allows you to carry an automatic weapon, if you are not clear with the FAWB I suggest you read up on it. this is a glock 18. they are built as a select fire weapon capable of both automatic and semiautomatic fire. it is illegal to posses unless you have a class license. any citizen can apply for a class 3 weapons license. however they are extremely expensive (thousands of dollars) and you can be pretty much denied for anything. there are THOUSANDS of US citizens who own automatic weapons LEGALLY. all it takes is a class 3 license, and the weapon must be manufactured prior to 1986.

Anyone who lives in a state that allows machine guns can purchase one after obtaining a $200 tax stamp from the ATF, and having their local authorities sign off on it. Boxpenguin is correct; it must be manufactured AND registered prior to May 1986. Glock 18's were NOT manufactured prior to 1986, so most likely you will never own one unless the laws change.
