Every time I see a chocolate lab puppy I can't help but laugh because last year I begged my mom to get one and she said she wanted to get into a new breed. We ended up getting a Neo! WORST DECISION EVER made by my mom. We spent around $2,000 on her in the 8 months we had her(rehomed). My mom reeeaally should have stuck with the lab puppy we went to see.

I have 3 dogs 1 bitch 2 of the dogs are labs 1 choc lab the other is a black lab both are perfect never had any trouble with them they are both trained and are very friendly family dogs. My other dog is a malamute he's a bit grumpy but other than that perfect my bitch is a collie and she is the best trained out of the lot. All my dogs are under 2yrs old. My choc lab was smaller than these when he was a baby he had a disease which nearly made me lose him but the vets put him right with a big bill

black lab: full of life, pretty, ssoft.

golden lab: pretty, full of life, soft.

choc lab: soft, pretty, full of life.

they all have the same thing in commen :) there all labs and they are amzing dogs

it depends on what you like. girls are smaller, more protective, and more territorial, good for a watch dog. boys are bigger, more happy-go-lucky, and are also stronger.

im getting a chocolate lab and my other dog has very bad habbits, would the puppie ever carry on these habits especially pissing inside the house. we are gonna try to keep them away when we need to teach the puppie and get him fixed, can anyone tell me what else to do and what the puppue will do?

My pups teach themselves to use their doggie door at 5-6 weeks of age. This has nothing to do with "marking".

I would be a bit skepital about the white spot. I have not seen this on chocolates but blacks do sometimes have white spot. For AKC white spots are premissible but not desireable

I found a dog outside my house I think its a chocolate labrador, she has the brown nose, and hazel eyes. We found her and she is sick, I believe is mange or something, we are treating her with "Happy Jack". But She has a white spot on her chest, and the paws are like a lighter brown. I read is normal, but I see that u are a breeder. How do I know if she is a real chocolate or not? Thank u!!
