Remove the attitude that black people need somebody behind them motivating them to do things!

  • Remove the attitude that black people whom are history figures have the answers to the problesm with black people! Remove the attitude that these people are not trying to become dieties and or magicians!

  • Remove the attitude that positive music for people of color is bound to fail! Remove the attiude that when my back feels droopy that measn somebody did something in their favor for the society!

  • Remove the attitude that you have to look to people that wear african clothes and or talk african conversation or act very ethnic for spiritual help or freedom!

  • Remove this attitude that the white people are happy when a black person looks mainstream because they are being white or ignorant! Remove the attitude that mainstream or success for black people stands against the wishes of Myself and or black people that would make difference in the society ! • best song :) nIcE !!! :)

  • My heritage is Euro centric, yet I was raised in the neighbourhood. I know everyone and we're cool. I have always loved the clan mostly because their music is so, so hop. Not many can come close to it, and brother J's control of the verbals, no one comes close, not yet. Ha ha, 'eatin' cooked meat while you gnaw at the bone'.

  • thats a real mc right there. stayed true to his style and would chew most new mc's making noise right now.

  • 26 People are white people who can't stand seeing a group of black men on the right path to African Enlightment.

  • @YoungBlackStud95 haha :)

  • Hot joint...samples D-Nice 'My name is 'D-Nice'...and J needs to get rid of that Blue tooth earpiece...it looks tacky as hell.

  • @sniperchef

You do mean Professor X, right? Professor Griff IS with P.E.

  • @mesmerizedbyamy1

Yeah, I had P.E. on the brain as I typed. Professor X the overseer= passed on. sad, he was so good for x-clan.

when griff got kicked out of P.E. , atleast he got to come back! hehehe

  • @sniperchef...you obviously don't know what you are talking about,,

Master China has always been around, and he is not a rapper he is Bro.J's personal guardian for many years now...p.e.a.c.e.

  • @petyo and by them using it that sais what hip hop has always been about taking other beats and flipping it you know jackin for beats. It was done before and it will be done in the future and their is nothing wrong with that.

  • This is so hot I can't believe this is the first time I'm hearing this. Waaaaaaakkkkeeeee

Uuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppp and bring back the real HIPHOP.

  • @YoungBlackStud95 Black Pride forever.

  • check ,..forever superman....rip proffesor X

  • Listen this old song: D-Nice - My name is D-Nice !!! same bass instrumental!! they've just stolen it :(

  • @PetyoKing Hip hop music has thousands upon thousands of raps and beats interwoven and shared among different groups. Its about building a cultural and paying homage/props to inspirations. Sounds are just sounds, the only insulting thing is when you take a sound that was originally associated with a positive/educational/productive message and then associate it with a culture/intellect degrading message as is the case with most mainstream rap since gangster rap took over in the early/mid 90's.

  • @PetyoKing D-Nice 'stole' it too, since especially all Hip Hop in the time of BDP (late 80's, early 90's) was a time of sampling and it is what gives Hip Hop its strength along with its lyrical content. Hip hop started with sampling (Kool Herc creating an endless loop of the break from the Incredible Bongo Band's - Apache) and everybody who respects the foundation of Hip Hop music would keep sampling and keep DJ'ing.

This is a great comeback by X-Clan btw, that puts most new artists to shame!

  • GREAT song to blast out of the ride during the summer. Killer bass. Even better lyrical content.

  • yaaaaaayyyyy it's real hip hop!!! thanx for this one chinita41. definitely cownloaded!.

  • I never understood why a lot of Africans, blacks, etc. looked up to Islam. It certainly doesn't represent Black Culture, at least not to me it doesn't. I'm not in relation with people from the Middle east, I know that for sure. And their the ones that believe iin that Muslim stuff, the only difference is their extremist about it in the Middle East and will blow your goddamn nation up for Allah.

  • @lavabone

    same here O.o daaaaamn!!!

  • All, I can say is WOW....back in 92 I had the exodus cassette and along with Public Enemy and Tribe Called Quest, this was one of my favorite RAP groups. This is my first time hearing anything new, and I really like it. At first I thought it was sellout material but on listening further I still hear the message. the flow is sick and the message is relevant. I wish we could all be racially honest, proud, and still seek peace. what a world it would be. I'm white in case you're wondering.

  • YO.... JAY SHIT STILL TIGHT.....BREATH CONTROL , MESSAGE , NONCONFORMING, I LOVE IT WHEN I C A OLDER MC COME BACK N THE GAME ..... N SHOW THE YOUNG BOYS HOW ITS DONE !!!

  • @Wagaobr Do a search on the Nation of Islam. Then look at Message to the Black Man in America. Then Do search on Five Percent Islam or The Nation of Gods and Earths. Then you will know what they are talking about. Then as a white person tell me if you can get with that. Peace.

  • This song is Nice.. Period ..

  • great work!!!

  • This guy from the Nation of Islam? He must of been intrigued with MLK, Malcolm X and the Nation. If you are a Muslim you have to make a trip to Mecca at least once in your life time. I read the Autobiography of Malcolm X along with various excerpts on Martin Luther King and the Nation of Islam.

(just so you know I'm not talking out my ass, I actually READ BOOKS)

Since HS ended I have read over 25 books in just a few years. Knowledge is power. "Acquire knowledge, skill, power" - Rob - E (Me)

  • @assmuncher1984

so what books have you read?

  • @drkthms1 - I have read many since HS has ended, unlike most who think they are done with school, I went to college to further my education because I knew I knew very little about the rest of the world. Here is a short list of what I have read this year alone. *The Autiobiography of Malcolm X *The Dharma Bums *Natural Resource Conservation *Criminal Procedures *Our Origins *Sleeping Where I Fall *Art History *Native North American Art *Sociology in Everyday Life *The Challenge of Democracy +more
  • ALL HAIL THE GREAT MOTHER MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT 2 THE GODS IN THE X-CLAN AND BLACKWATCHMOVEMENT..........OSIRIS

  • Brother J has skills.. Past and present

But his spiritual beliefs are bizarre and inconsistent. He once said in the song "Raise the Flag" that he was 'strictly Bible' (thats how I'm livin)

In this song he's talking about Jihad (Islam?)

In many other songs he sounds like he practices ancient Egyptian religion.

    What!??!

Like I said, he has great skills. But I dont what he's talking about in many songs

  • @royalty315 x-clan's agenda (like most nation/5%-linked hip hop) has always been a mishmash of various ideologies. i'd ordinarily say the use of the word "jihad" here is pretty tacky, particularly as hes never used it before and nothing else in the song or video or x-clan's back catalogue has anything to do with conventional islam. but a search of ohhla.com reveals that both akil from jurassic 5 and ras kass used the word "jihad" before 9/11, so ill give him the benefit of the doubt

  • Funny I don't see half naked women I see SISTERS who don't know that they are A GODDESS....OSIRIS

  • PEOPLE DON'T LISTEN 2 WORDS ANY MORE PASTROY CHECK IT

  • This to me is true hip hop, nothing out right now in 2010 compares to this in my opinion. No titties bouncing all on the video, 30 inch rims, or platinum teeth. This is serious stuff. Thanks for the upload!

  • Thank you for keeping the revolution alive in what used to be HIP HOP. Peace to the GOD Brother J.....7jahsun out.

  • its good to see that good groups can still adjust their sound and keep the same heavy rhymes i lovvveee it!

  • X clan!!!

  • Epic in concert

  • Here, kids, is the REAL thing!

  • damn i just thought i'd look up some old x clan and saw this - brother j is sounding good!! this is dope!

  • dope!

  • RAW AND I LOVE IT

  • X-Clan in the front! Hadn't heard this til now, thanx for posting - always loved X-Clan :)

  • How sick would have a Linque verse been in there? damn, we need this type of hip hop restored back to prominence!

  • Does anyone finds this ironic, there a black pride rap group on a all white suberban record label, now thats ironic

  • No more ironic than 70% of American hip hop being published by a French label:Universal Music Group.

  • @thirdshift47 Now that's ignorance.

Perhaps you mean mainstream, hip-pop but not real hip-hop.

  • Do your research before you call something ignorant.

70% is hardly the entire market place for hip hop but I can assure you that in 2010 independent hip hop does not account for 30% market share of the music;it's closer to half of that.

    The struggle continues...

  • @thirdshift47 I can assure you that UMG does not account for 70% of hip-hop. Their overall market shares alone only account for ~31 %. Granted, the Interscope group accounts for a notable size of hip-hop.

  • Money, that's 31.7% of ALL MUSIC COMBINED;not just hip hop.

I'll put it to you like this, just about 100% of the top selling rap artists in the US currently are on UMG.

That's anyone from Jay Z to Souja Boy to Eminem to Wayne to Jeezy to The Black Eyed Peas to Ludacris to G Unit to the Game to Drake to Nas to Common to T-Pain to Kanye.

  • weapon x 818 is the real one not u i dont know y u have 1600000 views??????

  • @thirdshift47 Nah son Ultraman did the track...

  • I stand corrected then.

  • no problem my brother..thanks for listening..Peace

  • It does look like John Popper.

You should check out "The Mountains Win Again" from Blues Traveller.
