@pacovl46 te "Chinese" version you speak of has a thicker 1.5mm receiver so it's arguably "more stable"...every gun has flex and movement when shot. They also have milled receive aks as well. I think the barrel flex comes from the pencil barrel with a large caliber. Other then that AKMs, maadi, norincos, are all decent firearms

the ak 47 has a major design flaw. it bends upwards in the middle when being fired. search for AK-47 SLOW MOTION on youtube. it's really evident at 1:36 onwards in that video. the gun in the video is a chinese mak 90, though. the original kalashnikov fares a lot worse. i saw a documentary about it on discovery channel once.

The m7 was built after 86 so unless you are a manufacturer or dealer loaner in the US there is no way you have one where the rest of them (full auto) cost a pretty penny and require a federal tax stamp. M16 sucks its getting styck with any thing and you only have weapon knowledge becouse if the army or shooting range club you havent bin there then you dobt have knowledge
1.the G36 series has tendency to getting hot during long bursts, and staying hot. also while shooting 3-5 round bursts the barel rises like fuck.
2.the K11 is bumpy and heavy, todays soliders are looking for ligther solutions. and this is a rifle that you wont be able to carry all day long. I am sure it is great for a fun day at the range, but for war. Nope. a rifle on top for today and future is the ACR due to its addaptebilety and design.

I wouldn't call replacing the aug barrel with a heavier contour barrel really qualifies it as an LMG. Push a pin twist and pull barrel out now replace barrel....the actual moving functional parts stay exactly the same. Bolt, carrier, extractor, piston all stays the same.

To be honest I'd take a good ak before the 416, the 416 is a fanboys favorite who prob never fired a rifle before. The BCG isn't designed to be moved via piston. To me a mag loaded M203 sounds adequate, but not that great for several different reasons, for 1 it's not an airburst round it will cause a bigger range of damage on impact but you have to be amazingly accurate to hit inside of a window from several meters away
