how would you put the low profile bracket on? i got the sapphire version and it comes with 2 different brackets. 1 has just a vga hole and the other 1 has the hdmi and dvi holes. could i use both?

@johnyrockshell, sure it can max everything out there, but if you try maxing games like Crysis or GTA IV at 1080p you will get like 5-15 frames per second.

mid end starts with hd5750/hd5770
low ends today are below that with maybe some exeptions

@MxFadzil yes, it will make a significant difference
but i can't say it will be mindblowing
it will play newer games by far better
i have hd5670 gddr5 wich is similliar to 5570, only bit better
so, yes, 8400 gs is kinda old and the gpu clock is low
so, yes
but if you want a bigger upgrade, i suggest saving up some money for hd5770
it will keep you satisfied for few years
