No, he was referring to pressing Ctrl+R in Stepmania and just banging out the steps on your arrow keys instead of, you know, following the music. It's not hard to listen to a song and say to yourself "okay those are 8th notes" etc. There's a reason for all that terminology.

thnak you for letting me know that but, i wassen't planing on releasing any of these sim's out to anyone, so why would i care if their in sync or not? it's to much of a pain for me to get the exact beat going, and it seems a lot eaiser just to use a recorder. btw, it was the camra that made the base sound sucky, not the song.
