  • i worked as a server in different restaurants for several years, and i never saw hardly any of this. respectable places have safeguards against most of this (used butter goes in the trash, computer systems guard against check scams). then again, i never worked at TGI fridays or denny's (etc), and it's no coincidence that i eat at such places as seldom as possible. and please, treat your server with respect. if you don't, all bets are off.
