Hello Harald, I am a former racer from Ontario from the seventies; I have skied probably 4 times in the years since then. Just recently got new gear and I was quite inspired by your material. It almost makes me feel like I never knew how to ski at all...and I used to think I was pretty good. Got a copy of your book and I will see if I can reinvent my technique. In shop test says I need 2 degrees of boot cant inwards. They recommend examination skiing in front of coach/ teacher. Toronto ON tx

Did I see some check turns? Looked like HH was adding some pressure at the end or beginning of the new turn. AS it all happens in the previous turn. Getting high in the C or skiing above the fall line.

I personally don't like HH and his stile, however, after watching some of the clips, I realized that essentials he mentions are the real deal. I've learned all on my own in the course of couple of years (with a lot of practicing) and seeing them summarized at one place should really help ppl not to invent the wheel at have a steeper learning curve.

Once you are really pro skier all these thing look logical and simple, but you'll need a lot of practice to get to the level HH shows in his videos.

Probably the best free ski instruction available. The proverbial proof of the pudding is in the eating and here is one hell of a recipe to produce solid skiing.
