I was under the same impression for a little while.

But after beating Reach, I went back and replayed the whole series to refresh myself on the story.

Going back and thinking about intensively, Halo 2 isn't a bad game by any means. It's just the worst of the series.

It's aged incredibly well in comparison to some other games of the same genre.

But the multiplayer, for the time, was by far the best.

It basically jump-started xbox live.
