No problems either way! William Asher was married to Elizabeth Montgomery at the time--so not only did he get Samantha into this "situation", he helped her get out of it with the experience he gained from "I Love Lucy's" treatment of Lucille Ball's pregnancy...
This was from the first episode of the second season [September 16, 1965]- originally filmed and shown in black & white, as noted- and is the piovtal scene at the end when Sam tells Darrin she's "expecting". Because Liz WAS pregnant at the time, the Stephens' HAD to have a baby {as Lucy did on "I LOVE LUCY", in those episodes which were also directed by William Asher!}.
I'm not sure what makes this clip "interesting" except that it was a milestone moment in the show. Too bad it's the crummy colorized version. Funny thing about this scene was I believed Liz Montgomery was already VERY pregnant in real life when it was filmed (as evidenced by her rather bulky coat here).
Such a romantic moment between them !

The Stephens were the first T.V. Family to sleep in the same bed. and Samantha was the first to have Divorced parents.
