  • Hello this is djvagetal I have a 96 camaro do u have to have a special bumper for the exhaust ??? Please write back ? Thanks

  • @Djvagetal64 all you are going to need is the rear valance. If not, the tips will look odd.

  • No it doesn't it has an aftermarket duel exhaust. And I just found out today it use to be a single exhaust.

  • @0001lamar I don't think its an rs then. Rs Camaro's came with the lip kit and I believe a better suspension package. if you run the vin #'s I believe you will find out for sure.... What kinda of exhaust are you running? Post some videos.

  • Thanks for the info. I have a 96 camaro I think it's an rs. But I'm not sure because it doesn't have any emblems to indicate what kind is it.I know it's 3.8 v6.

  • @0001lamar Does it have the lip kit?

  • What does SLP stand for? And what's a valance?

  • @0001lamar ”SLP” stands for (street legal performance) and the valance is the rear lip that I have on my bumper... They're also called cme lip (center mount exhaust) or cme valance.

  • Oh ok.This is my first camaro so I might ask slot of questions.Because I don't really know that much about camaros

  • @0001lamar that's fine dude, I don't mind. What year camaro do you have?

  • Thanks and what does CIA mean?

  • @0001lamar I ment to put "CAI" which stands for (Cold air intake).... Sorry.

  • Nice camaro man. What did you type in on eBay in order to find the parts? because I want to do the same thing to my camaro.

  • @0001lamar You could type "Camaro SLP", "6litereaterdesigns", "02 Camaro SS", etc. It gets kinda pricey after a while. I check everyday for new and used things. Some of my parts where used like the hood and wing. All i did was work on it and paint it. The rest like the rear lip and exhaust was bought new.

  • i wondered why this sounded weird. then you revved it up high and it's a v6. nice cme

  • @willymywonka Lol, yeah it's a 3.4. I bought this car as a daily driver and little by little I've been making it look good. I just recently painted the whole car and lowered it. I'll post more videos when I get a chance. Btw you have a nice looking Camaro. Is it a V6 or V8?

  • @73camarokid yea that was my 3rd camaro. it's a v8, LT1.

i've got a black 95 z28 that i'm making an ss here soon. where did you get the spoiler?

  • @willymywonka I got the spolier on ebay for like $80.00. It came off an 02 SS Camaro and it was an SLP.

  • @73camarokid that's damn cheap if it was an oem part. did you just mask off the reverse lights when you did the nightshade?

  • @willymywonka I dont think it was a OEM part but it's identical to the original. I got the rear lip and the exhaust tips on ebay. If I remember I got the lip for like $200 and the tips for like $150. I did mask off the reverse lights.

  • @73camarokid damn that's cheap. does the guy still make them or did you buy them off one person?

  • @willymywonka Yeah he still does. I know he also makes custom rear lips similar to the "CME" lips. I just got on ebay and they are going for $350.00 shipped. Check it out, type in Camaro CME on the scearch bar and they will come up.

  • @73camarokid oh you're talking about 6liter designs. yea he's a great guy that sells alot of cool stuff for us 4th gen guys. google 6 liter designs and you'll see his site. he's got a few new cme with single tips and all kinds of stuff.

    again sweet ride man

  • @willymywonka Yup, it was from him, he does make alot of cool things. Have you seen the front splitters that he makes? I was thinking about buying one but damn! He wants $350! Im pretty good with fiberglass so Im in the process of making one just like his. Lets see how that comes out lol.

  • @73camarokid If you have the know how then i'd go for it. The splitter's only look on ls1 camaro's of trans am's but if you can make it work then more power to you. you've def got a great looking car as is.

love the nightshades. Did a body shop align that cme valence, and/or how much did it cost?

  • @willymywonka Thanks dude, I wanted to fabricate one up just to see if it looks good. If not I'll just trash it. I did the alingment of the lip while I was at the muffler shop getting the CME tips installed. It's really easy to put on the only thing I recommend is to drill a hole on each side at the bottom end of the lip and one on the middle so you could install bolts aswell. The lip only comes with double tape and you dont want that lip to fly off.

  • freaking dope

  • Hey bro, it looks pretty cool. Where did you buy the tips from??? Where ing FL are you?

  • @Jayc0031ss I bought the SLP rear lip and Tips off of ebay for a real good price. Im located in the Carol city area. How about you???

  • Looks good man. Love the CME. I like the taillights too

  • Thanks dude, I plan on lowering my car soon and re-painting it.
